(CBS)  Jay Mohr, the multitalented actor, comedian and writer who's been seen everywhere from "Saturday Night Live" to "Jerry Maguire," now brings his talents to the CBS sitcom "Gary Unmarried", playing a man trying to make his way through the minefield of his post-divorce life.

Mohr sat down for some laughs with The Early Show Saturday Edition co-anchor Chris Wragge and Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez.

"I want to thank Bill Paxton for being my opening act," Mohr joked, referring to actor Bill Paxton, who had appeared in an earlier segment.

The funnyman talked about making the transition from the CBS hit drama, "Ghost Whisperer," to another CBS hit, "Gary Unmarried," and his return to stand-up comedy, which he started at the young age of 15.
