(CBS)  Phil Keoghan is the host of the wildly popular reality show "The Amazing Race," which is in the midst of its 14th season, but he's taking some time off from criss-crossing the globe and preparing to hop on his bike and ride from Los Angeles to New York to promote healthy living and shine the spotlight on the battle against Multiple Sclerosis.

Keoghan talked to Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith and features reporter and weather anchor Dave Price about his plan to ride coast-to-coast to raise money for The Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Keoghan joins a movement taking hold around the country as M.S. Awareness week kicks off.
