(CBS)  Planning a wedding is a dream come true for a lot of little girls, but one young bride walked down the aisle much earlier than anyone expected. Early Show correspondent Debbye Turner Bell shared her heartwarming story.

"It was a glorious affair, there were 100 guests, beautiful flowers and great music and a very special bride and groom," Bell said.

It looks like the wedding every bride dreams of, except this bride is 9 years old. Her groom is 7.

Jayla Cooper and Jose Griggs met at the hospital. They both have leukemia, but Cooper's cancer is advancing. When doctors told her family she had just weeks to live, the wedding was her greatest wish.

This was a touching article. My mother passed away 9 October 2004 of AML. She never could get to a point of having a bone marrow transplant. But she felt that she had lived a good long life. A pray for a miracle for this little girl for her life has just begun.
