As a former health care giver, I am shocked and saddened to see what has become of health care in America. $ 1. 4 million is being spent per day in DC by the health care lobbyists so your elected representative is getting taken care of and has quality health care we pay for and can't afford ourselves for our families, I know what is deemed, defended and supported in Tennessee and Virginia as quality health care and clearly profit care comes ahead of patient care. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62 MRSA ( methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureas ) is infesting our communities because filthy, uncaring hospitals and emergency rooms are breeding them and spreading them into our schools, homes, restaurants. How many more Americans' will be diseased or die while 74 % of Americans' are begging for health care reform ? More people died in America last year from MRSA complications than AIDS. When MRSA and a flu bug start mixing, it won't be pretty and we are being infected by the very health care system we depend on and trust to keep us safe and healthy. If we had "the best health care" in the world then why does RAM ( Remote Area Medical ) come to Wise County, Virginia year after year so people can go to the fairgrounds and stand in a line like cattle in the hot July sun just to see a health care provider ??? America's health care system is a disgraceful sham !

Here's why most women can't hold their pee.....
Instead of pulling over and going to pee at the nearest 7-11, most women tend to wait an hour or whatever until they get home or find someplace cleaner. Eventually their bladders get stretched out and they can't hold their pee.
The solution?? Buy a $1.00 pack of toilet seat liners for your purse and maybe keep a
small can of disinfectant in your car so you can clean off that toilet seat at the 7-11.
It helps to wear good shoes to, that way you aren't picking through 3 inches of dirty papers towels, condoms and vomit on the bathroom floor at the 7-11 while wearing TEVAS.

I think the talk is a little politically correct toward patronising women. Its like the doctors are speaking half truths ... sorta like the republicans do.

Yes, men are hornydogs when they are younger and women are not as much. So true.

What the doctors fail to mention is that it is quite reversed as the man and woman age. By the time a man is 50 he is beating off the women on a daily basis. They just dont know how to take no for an answer.

Why these educated doctors fail to include this is beyond me.

Mitch Earleywine knows so much more than was showed in this breif clip. His book (Understanding Marijuana) is filled with compelling information for the pro legalization/decriminalization group and for those opposed.

I believe that Dr. Earleywine is a smart, intelligent man that has a very good point about the importance of allowing those who meet the qualifications to have the availability and option of medicinal marijuana. I feel like the point of addiction is relatively minor if the medicinal marijuana is helping people live life more comfortably. In addition, marijuana use does not necessarily mean that the individual is more willing or will try more serious, harmful, addictive drugs. The connection between marijuana and hard drug use seems to be that the hard drug abuser has simply used marijuana before which is normally the case because of the accessibility and price (in comparison to harder drugs). Many marijuana users simply stick to smoking marijuana because they are aware of the dangers that other drugs can provide. Marijuana is the seemingly "safe" drug. There are many other points these doctors could have touched on to debate their view, such as caffeine and addiction, like Dr. Earleywine brought up; however, I don't believe a consensus could ever be brought about. As a student currently enrolled in one of his psychology courses, I feel like Dr. Mitch Earleywine is a very liberal, effective teacher and has plenty of information and studies to support his ideas and theories. With the prescriptions and drugs we hand out and make synthetically that have the capability of killing someone, I believe it is time we start looking naturally for options of medical care. Marijuana use has never killed anyone, prescription pills have.

Heh, an interesting clip, even if perhaps disappointingly short; not quite enough to properly discuss the breadth of the issue (though, to be fair, as much was noted within the clip itself).

Do think that both sides brought up reasonable points, if even in sharp (and indeed, fundamental) disagreement. Having said as much, however, Dr. Earleywine did offer some constructive, viable, and significant alternatives and counter-points to present notions (often pre-conceived) that may well pave the way for a future legalization / adjustment... or, at the least, a step in that direction.

Good watch, nonetheless. Thank you.

Marijuana is a natural herb. Smoking marijuana is not addictive in the sence that there are no withdrawal systems or liver damage as there is with alcohol for example. One might argue that alcohol contributes to dangerous addictive tobacco consumtion.

Being a gateway to other more harmfull drugs is systematic of the criminal drug dealers who prey on adolescent victims.

The time for telling the truth is long over due. It is time for Congress to admit that this law against Canabis is one of the last Jim Crow laws, it was put in place illegally and against the peoples will. It was used to remove Mexicans from our country. The nation's university have know for a long time that the Government lied about its dangers. The supports to keep this illegal were those involved in cutting down our forest and those like Dow Chemical who did not want any competition. I think medical marijuana should be legal. My mother suffers from social anxiety, a history of bleeding stomache ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome and osteoarthritis in her hands. The one and only thing that has helped each and every one of these symptoms has been marijuana. I cant understand how people could have a negative outlook on this when it would eleviate so much pain for the people who really need it. Yes there should be qualifications and specifics met I do not under any circumstances think anyone and everyone should be able to qualify but with a personal story attatched with this subject it should be legalized totally and i hope it will be soon for my mothers sake. Everyone deserves to be happy and healthy. There's a huge percent of our population on prescription drugs whether it be for depression or colesteral, they have to take medication to feel better and stay happy and healthy. Medical marijuana is the SAME thing in a different form. There is no reason people who could benefit from its use and do not want it to get "high" but to feel BETTER, its sad that their needs are placed below the people who are prescribed drugs and people who abuse their prescriptions. I am all for it being legalized!
