Remember what these photos look like,,,,,,,,this was approx. 2 million,,,,,,,,,,,when the numbers of the middle class start losing all.......the photograph will look quite different when that crowd reaches numbers of ten,,,,twenty million.....And that crowd will not be cheering at least nothing nice,,,,,,,And people if the bailouts continue,,,,,that is exactly what will happen..........because the bailouts only help corporate America ,,....if the middle class has no money the will erode to nothing,,,,and our congress knows it........Ignoring the facts of what will happen to the middle class would result in very bad views of what the people expect,,,and lead to a direct confrontation between the government and masses of people.

Judging by the direction of the shadows, it seems to me the picture was taken at around 11.00 am - before the ceremony started.

Now you know how GOD views us. On the news it said that everybody was happy, I saw a few people with frowns!

While my first impression of the view was of swarming ants, a closer, more deliberate observation is of the amazing diversity, even from space. There are subtle colorations in the crowds that accentuate our humanity. Even more amazing are the shadows we cast as individuals. Individuals standing together, casting our own shadows as one with a single vision and purpose. A truely remarkable view. Here''s hoping this unity will continue and prosper regardless of political allegiance or personal perspective. That this will be a turning point for our country and our world. Peace.

I''m sorry, how can you hold 43 responsible for decades before he was even president? You are a hate filled person, and I really feel sorry for you. you are so angry, that you are blaming bush for everything...he was only one piece of our government. what about a congress that had an even lower approval rating than Bush? What about judges who go against the constitution by trying to make laws from the bench instead of just interpreting the ones we have? at the very least, just be glad he''s gone and be quiet. oh, and seek anger management therapy...it could do you some good.

Face it everyone, we were "Bushwhacked". He stole two elections, looted our country, and made us an enemy to just about everyone in the World.
Now it''s time to take the momentum this new president is providing to bring us shoulder to shoulder with the world community. Countries have been at odds with us for decades because of the previous administration%u2019s pompous attitude that powered our foreign policy. In Pres. Obama%u2019s speech, he proclaimed we can not permit the slaughter of innocence. I hope and pray this remark was meant to put Israel on notice for their horrific acts of inhumanity being committed on the people of Gaza.
The emotion of today event was punctuated by the largest gathering of people this country has seen in a long time. People of all races, coming together, expressing themselves with tears of hope and reaching across the lines of prejudice. Seeing this makes me believe that there may be hope for the World after all, and/or after Bush. %u201CGod Speed USA%u201D the world is watching.

My first and instinctive reaction:

Oh, my - I hope we don''t fatally break the climate or poison our atmosphere or oceans beyond recovery, for we are truly but ants upon the face of this planet and can be swept aside just as easily.
