A booked courthouse forced an Illinois couple hoping to get married to make a run for the border … to an area Taco Bell.
Paul and Caragh Brooks exchanged nuptials at the Mexican fast food chain last week. Paul told CBS' The Early Show that when he posed the idea to his bride-to-be, he said it half-jokingly.
And Caragh's response: "Why not?"
Decked out in a $15 dress, Caragh, who is Australian and met Paul, who is from Normal, Ill., on an Internet dating site, said "I do" as customers ordered tacos and burritos.
