The Ohio man, who became famous during the U.S. presidential campaign after asking Barack Obama about his tax plan, is heading to Israel as a war correspondent for a conservative Web site called pjtv.com.
Dubbed "Joe the Plumber" by McCain's campaign, Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher was held up as an example of an American worker who would be hurt economically by Obama's election.
Wurzelbacher says he'll spend 10 days covering the fighting and explaining why Israeli forces are mounting attacks against Hamas.
He tells WNWO-TV in Toledo that he wants "go over there and let their 'Average Joes' share their story."
Wurzelbacher later joined Republican John McCain on the campaign trail.
At one stop, Wurzelbacher agreed with a McCain supporter who asked if he believed a vote for Obama was a vote for the death of Israel.

Joe will cover the Isreali invasion of Gaza and comment on "life during wartime", as if we didn''t know!
Afterwards, Joe plans on traveling to Alaska to interview Sarah Palin and determine how many Russian jets have flown over the Alaskan governer''s house!!
SIG HEIL, EAT YOUR HEART OUT DAN RATHER!!!, BUSH!!!
While I agree that this "Joe the plumber"stuff is a rotten shame,,,,, The so called "journalism entity he will work for is NOT a NeoCon outfit.
Let''s all stop the jumping onto a word or phrase to use it when we obviously do not know what it means. "Neo" in this case represents "New." Con of course is conservative. But there is nothing new or re-treaded to be ds in new" here. In fact 99% of the time we should drop the Neo thing. These are plain old fashioned super right wing Conservatives. Period. They have been mucking things up for centuries.

I don''t even know what to say about this. I really don''t care, but it just goes to show you, in this day and age of instant communications, any idiot can become famous. Fortunately, Americans have a really short attention span, so Joe the "plumber" should be forgotten quickly and relegated to late night trivia games.
now we have a joethewarcorrespondent.com
Love the internet.
i wonder what kind of "correspondent" he''ll make... yeah...
