(CBS)  At the beginning of this year, singer-songwriter Sharon Little was waiting tables in Philadelphia. Then she got a record deal, made an album and went on a nationwide tour.

Her debut album, "Perfect Time For A Breakdown", has received critical acclaim.

She visited The Early Show to talk more about her whirlwind year.

"It's been a wild trip," she says. "There's a lot that we've done. [Scot Sax and I] opened up for Al Green, Jonny Lang, Robert Plant, Chris Isaac -- amazing, amazing people."
