Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee. The child disappeared in June, and authorities say her mother didn't report her missing until July.
The description of the searches was included in more than 700 pages of court documents released in the case this week.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the searches also included "how to make chloroform" and took place in March. Someone also used the computer in March to search for peroxide, acetone, alcohol and "lost numbers."
Court documents also showed that Casey Anthony's grandmother told investigators that Anthony had stolen checks from her on several occasions, starting in 2007, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Shirley Plesea said she wanted to press charges against her granddaughter, but didn't for the sake of Caylee, documents showed.
Cindy Anthony, Casey's mother, first called authorities in July to say that she hadn't seen Caylee for a month and that her daughter's car smelled like death.
Casey Anthony told authorities that she had left her daughter with a babysitter in June, and that the two were gone when she returned from work. She says she spent the next month trying to find her daughter and didn't call authorities because she was scared.
Investigators immediately started poking holes in her story. The apartment where Casey Anthony said she had left her daughter had been vacant for months, they said. They said she also lied when she told them she had been working at an area theme park as an event planner.
Anthony was indicted on murder charges in October and remains in the Orange County Jail.

- Whoa. Paranoid, much? You seem to be a bit on edge...touched a nerve, have I? I suggest you settle down and stick to the issue of the article; your little rant was not only uncalled for, but childish in the extreme.

- To all of you that have an ironclad opinion of her guilt: The police have admitted that JonBenet Ramsey was NOT killed by a family member. We have not been told everything and I am sure the authorities are holding evidence out of the media.
I am not saying the Mom is innocent, but, I will not make a snap decision on her guilt. - Reply to this comment
- well they should just keep her locked up....have they given her a lie detector test yet??? i hope that this woman did not cause harm to her own little girl..which she carried for nine months and gave birth to

Antisocial Personality Disorder is also known as psychopathy or
sociopathy. Individuals with this disorder have little regard for the
feeling and welfare of others. As a clinical diagnosis it is usually
limited to those over age 18. It can be diagnosed in younger people
if the they commit isolated antisocial acts and do not show signs of
another mental disorder.
Antisocial Personality Disorder is chronic, beginning in adolescence
and continuing throughout adulthood. There are ten general
symptoms:
not learning from experience
no sense of responsibility
inability to form meaningful relationships
inability to control impulses
lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness
People with this disorder may exhibit criminal behavior. They may
not work. If they do work, they are frequently absent or may quit
suddenly. They do not consider other people''s wishes, welfare or
rights. They can be manipulative and may lie to gain personal
pleasure or profit. They may default on loans, fail to provide child
support, or fail to care for their dependents adequately. High risk
sexual behavior and substance abuse are common. Impulsiveness,
failure to plan ahead, aggressiveness, irritability, irresponsibility,
and a reckless disregard for their own safety and the safety of
others are traits of the antisocial personality. - Reply to this comment
- I wouldn''t blame abuse in this case; look at Andrea Yates...clearly she was a badly abused/neglected/sick woman who had NO support from the one person she was supposed to count on the most. There, the abuse argument could and should apply; Casey Anthony is a psychopath and a liar. This is not a lack of sympathy or insight on the part of the general public. It is looking evil right in the face.

- Newbies are teased with the statement, "The publish button has been temporarily disabled". which never hints that the newbie''''s post has been received. Thus newbies are ruthlessly lured into multiple duplicate posts, exposing their inexperience for all to see.

- This whole thing about google trackign and storing data on searches, to a particular IP address, is quite disturbing.
They must have 100''''s of Terabytes of logs if they could produce this information, months after the fact.

- There ya go Casey Anthony, bury her with a shovel then bury the shovel.... This chick is OBVIOUSLY guilty of her daughters disappearance. To many changes in her story. Next thing you know she''ll say Santa Claus nabbed her last Christmas. Did anyone check the North Pole???? Maybe ol'' Cris Cringle has the child building toys in a sweat shop in Thailand or just maybe, JUST maybe, building Nike''s.

- This time a woman cries silently for understanding of what she might have been forced into by lack of insight and by lack of SUPPORT services
So you are saying she killed her daughter because of a LACK OF INSIGHT on the part of society??
That she had no "support services"??
What on earth are you talking about??
You say not to rush to judgement about her guilt. Aren''t you doing the same thing by presuming her innocence SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE IS FEMALE?!
.. and what the heck is this thing about teachers reaching out for "solice" sic to males.. What the hell does that mean?
Sorry, but your post is rambling and non-sensical - Reply to this comment

- As a progressive, I am concern that we are rushing to judgment, before we know all the facts. If there is any one woman to blame, we need to blame all of society, as women , esp. in this country have been the focus of abuse. Abuse by men, by institutions and by schools ( have we all had enough of teachers reaching out to male students for solice only to be exposed and rejected ? again..and again...) This time a woman cries silently for understanding of what she might have been forced into by lack of insight and by lack of SUPPORT services.
To blame and punish are TV indoctrinations. TO understand , forgive and move on is a progressive idea that we need to embrace.
Women are healed only when blame and distrust are removed, and not before. - Reply to this comment
