Grammy Winner Gets Personal On Her Fifth Studio Album, "Funhouse"

(CBS)  Two-time Grammy winner Pink doesn't hold back. She's edgy and sexy, with her punk rock looks and she isn't afraid to tell it like it is.

Known for hits like "Get the Party Started" and "Don't Let Me Get Me," Pink recently released her fifth studio album, called "Funhouse," which includes her new smash hits, "So What" and "Who Knew Mountains."

She has become one of the decade's most recognizable music stars, who has also won five MTV Video Music Awards, has had eight top ten singles and has already sold 23 million albums worldwide.

After enduring a tumultuous few years, going through a divorce with motocross star Carey Hart earlier this year, Pink, who was born Alecia Beth Moore, had a lot of material for her new album.

She isn't afraid to admit that Hart is the subject of some of the songs on "Funhouse" however.

"It's been alright. It's been a rollercoaster," she said.

The album isn't melancholy; there is a variety of upbeat songs with a Pink twist.

"It's very personal, but all of them are. When I was writing "Family Portrait" I just was writing about somebody else's divorce - happened to be my parents! I'm pretty out there as a songwriter. I have no mystery," Pink told Early Show weather anchor and features reporter Dave Price.

"This is my most vulnerable album to date," said Pink, 29, on her official Web site.

There are several factors that drove the album "Funhouse."

"It's definitely therapy. But it's all over the place. There are some fun songs too. We still party. We have a good time," Pink said.
