"Marcia Brady" On Her Drug Use, Paranoia
Maureen McCormick And Husband, Michael Cummings, Tell All About Battling Her Demons
-
An emotional Maureen McCormick on The Early Show Friday (CBS)

But the "Brady Bunch" character bore little real-life resemblance to the actress who portrayed her.
And in her memoir, "Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice," Maureen McCormick opens up about her inner demons.
In an interview with co-anchor Julie Chen on The Early Show Friday, McCormick and her husband, Michael Cummings, shared how they survived her destructive journey through drugs, paranoia and depression. It put McCormick on the brink of a suicide attempt.
They also told Chen about their continuing love story, one that began with a mutual love-at-first-sight.
Amazingly, Cummings had never seen or heard of Marcia Brady!
When Chen asked McCormick if she feels she's alive today because of Cummings, the response was, "I would say, yeah."
