According to the Star Tribune in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Jennifer Nicole Anato-Mensah, a 21-year-old University of Minnesota student, is accused of chasing after an executive producer at KSTP-TV who had just fired her, damaging company property along the way.
Anato-Mensah made threats and shouted obscenities at executive producer Danielle Prenevost after the firing, telling her "You don't know where I'm from, I'll mess you up," according to a criminal complaint.
The newly-fired intern also allegedly kicked in a conference room window in an attempt to reach Prenevost during the Oct. 13 incident before being restrained by a male employee, the complaint said.
Anato-Mensah faces misdemeanor criminal damage to property charges and is scheduled to make a Dec. 30 court appearance.

See all 83 CommentsYou watch too much tv. Like I said, I don''t carry a gun, anywhere I go.

I know race doesn''t have anything to do with it. I was arguing against a racist who was claiming this person was a peace loving muslim. I simply replied what this person''s race was and it happened to be black. If she were white, I would have said she was white. Perhaps you''re the racist since you bought it up?
Yes, we do know. Not that often. In most cases criminals are not "carrying" anything at all. A person like you carrying a gun into a room increases the chances of death in that room. That''s a fact since that person is carrying a deadly weapon designed to kill people into that room. A gun that could be used by the owner to kill someone after an argument. A gun that could be taken away from the owned by another person and used to kill. A gun that could be dropped and fire hitting innocent people. A gun the owner might not be able to use even if needed to stop a crime. You guys dream a lot about incidents in which you could use your guns to protect yourself or others but when the gunfire begins many gun owners have cowered under a table and waited until all the action is over to say "Don''t worry. I have a gun!~" "LOL" One armed, volunteer security guard, a gun owner and NOT a trained security guard, froze during the Colorado church shooting and did not fire his gun even though parishioners were screaming at him "SHOOT HIM. SHOOT HIM." He didn''t. It wasn''t until the female officer, who was a well-trained former police officer, came into the scene that the killing ended...and the shooter killed himself. Guns are not designed to save people. They are designed to kill them.
So you made a comment without knowing the facts as I said. I don''t know what her race has to do with it though. That could be done by a person of any race.
That''''s what gun owners do when they can''''t use their guns...I am NOT a gun owner!~ I don''''t need a gun to be courageous. That''''s why I don''''t own one!~

Maybe some people behave that way. Not me. I don''t carry guns around expecting trouble. However, you never know who the next mentally ill and determined carrier may be.

Because I wasn''''t certain that was the correct picture.

I said I think she''s black. Didn''t say it was for certain.
That''s what gun owners do when they can''t use their guns...I am NOT a gun owner!~ I don''t need a gun to be courageous. That''s why I don''t own one!~
Then you made a comment without the facts!~
The difference between you and me is that I don''''t need a gun to get the situation under control!~

Is that because you run and hide?

Because I wasn''t certain that was the correct picture.
And many women in the TV field are notorious B''s who love to lord it over and whiz on and torture interns...there''s gotta be more to this story than meets the eye, so stopp all your babbling about guns and craziesand gun-toting heroes taking out crazy nutcases.
Sounds to me like some college kid gave some Cindy McCain wannabe exactly what she deserved...scared the living *** out of her and took her down a few notches.
The chick was probably gonna be fired anyway, given the state of the economy. They won''t soon forget HER.

I have been around a lot of Middle Eastern people and none of them have names like this. Try your ignorant racist rant another time, cowboy.
Because there was no need. That was a problem that didn''t require the use of a gun to be solved!~
Then he said "You can''''t make that comparison, because "gun-related violence" just means that the bad guy had a gun."
Don''t you say!~ My comparison was a look at the outcome when in an incident like this the NUT have a gun and when the NUT doesn''t have a gun. Nut with guns=dead people. Nut without gun=insulted people!~ "LOL"
Then he said "Even if the girl had shown a weapon, then I would hope someone else nearby would have been able to draw their gun and prevent her mowing down a dozen innocent ex-coworkers (which has happened, as you well know!)."
That''s the dream of gun owners...to be the hero in a situation like that. We have 80 million gun owners and everytime there''s a killing they are not anywhere to be found. Could it be they mind their own business? Instead most of the time we have a mass shooting the shooter is a gun owner!~ That''s reality!~
Then why you said "I "think" she''s black"?
I did. He said "a nut like her". A nut like her is an unarmed nut. An armed nut is not "a nut like her"!~ Is that so hard to understand? Since yesterday we have a gun owner who said he shot two unarmed people stealing his TV, one that became a gun owner because a 7-year-old kid stabbed her, and one guy who says he needs a gun to protect himself against an unarmed, angry lady.
Then he said "So when you have somebody approaching you screaming and threatening you, are you going to try and predict their actions and assume they''''re not going to harm you? Or are you going to get the situation under control?"
The difference between you and me is that I don''t need a gun to get the situation under control!~
Then he said "By the way, I don''''t carry a gun. But I''''m not going to assume every angry person running around is unarmed, regardless if guns are banned."
I keep my eyes open too for any eventuality but I don''t lose any sleep over it since I know most criminals are unarmed.
You started out with one almost true statement, then veered off into fantasyland. You are right if you meant that the particular form that violence takes is influenced by culture, but you are wrong to say "we are all violent" and absolutely stu.pid to think that guns don''t affect the amount of violence and death.
A gun is tool, designed for killing, nothing else. The more guns there are, the more people will be killed, for no other reason than the fact that guns make killing SO EASY! No thought, and very little skill are required. Get angry, pick up a gun, point and shoot!!! Bang! You''re dead.
The majority of gun owners think they are going to use their guns to defend themselves, but what happens MUCH MORE OFTEN is that they kill themselves, or their wife/gf, or one of their kids, or a neighbor, or they are killed by those relatives or friends by their own gun!!
And, then there''s the occasional instance when their dog kills them by stepping on their gun as it rests against a fence (it actually happened!), or some other stu.pid "accident".
Guns don''t kill people. Stu.pid/cra.zy people with guns kill people. And we''ve got waaaay too dammm many stu.pid/cra.zy people... so why give them guns?
