(AP)  New York's top court has upheld Bianca Jagger's eviction from a rent-stabilized Manhattan apartment, concluding that foreigners on tourist visas cannot claim New York digs as a "primary residence."

The globe-trotting human rights activist and ex-wife of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger was evicted in December from the Upper East Side apartment she had rented for 20 years. She had been in a dispute with Katz Park Avenue Corp., with a separate lawsuit over asbestos and fungus.

Jagger rented the Upper East Side space for $4,614 a month. It has since been leased to another tenant. A native of Nicaragua, Jagger also keeps an apartment in London.

The Court of Appeals issued the ruling Thursday.

She is a "human rights activist"?

She was married to Mick Jagger for 20 minutes 40 years ago and still is living off his name.

She is a tourist in this country and gets a rent protected apartment in Manhattan for about 1/10 of what the rent would normally be.

I guess human rights to her is about getting other people to pay your bills
