MMOG Developer MindFuse Secures $1 Million In Debt; Plans To Raise Venture Capital By Next Month

Massively multiplayer online gamer MindFuse has secured $1 million in convertible debt from the Keiretsu Forum angel investor group, Venturebeat reports. The Berkeley, CA.-based company expects to raise an undisclosed amount of venture capital by within the next month. In the meantime, MindFuse is creating a 3-D animated game that can support thousands players simultaneously. Aside from attracting large numbers of players at the same time, MindFuse is aiming at casual gamers that don't want to spend hours on a single play. The company was founded by Joseph Walters, formerly of game developer Shockwave.
