What's New In Makeup For Fall

(CBS)  When the seasons change, so does makeup.

"Hollywood Glamour" is a hot makeup look this fall. So is "Modern Sexy." And "Understated Chic" is "in," as well, according to three celebrity makeup artists who discussed the latest trends for autumn on The Early Show Wednesday.

The folks at makeup Mecca Sephora sent three top celebrity makeup artists to illustrate products from the companies they represent, and show the looks they enhance.

HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR

Lancome makeup artist Darais creates a timeless "Hollywood Glam" look that starlets such as Ann Hathaway are wearing on the red carpet, using black or blue liquid liner, lush lashes, and bold red lips.

MODERN SEXY

UNDERSTATED CHIC

Clean eyes, sculpted cheeks, and berry-stained lips: This look, created by Dior makeup artist Ricky Wilson, is for the woman who wants less of a "makeup" look but who wants to tap into the hot fall trends. The eyes are defined with natural shades to make them stand out nicely, while eyeliner and a decent amount of mascara give her the edge she needs to get noticed. The cheeks are sculpted, and the look is finished off with a very wearable stain of a rich berry hue.
