(AP)  Police say a 20-year-old woman faces an aggravated assault charge after she bit her boyfriend, broke a picture frame across his face and swung at him with a sword during an argument about him not doing the dishes.

Briana Lin Pouncy was arrested Thursday afternoon at the couple's apartment, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported on its Web site.

Joseph Boykins, 21, told police that he and Pouncy had become involved in an argument because Pouncy was upset that the dishes were not clean. She told Boykins to leave the apartment, which he refused to do, police Lt. Paul Henderson said.

Henderson said the woman then tried to physically remove Boykins. During the ensuing struggle, Henderson said, Pouncy bit Boykins' right shoulder and broke a picture frame across his face, causing visible cuts.

The woman then grabbed an approximately 2-foot sword and swung it at Boykins, missing him, police said.

Pouncy was released from a Mansfield jail after posting a $10,000 bond, jail officials said.

Henderson said Pouncy and Boykins had lived together for four months.

My dear hubby of 29 years pi22ed me off so bad one night that I cut up all his socks after he passed out drunk. When he awoke next morning to go to work he got the message loud & clear. What a laugh we''ve had. Now I just threaten him with "I''ll cut your socks up!"

He must have not been doing anything around the house - dishes must have been a deal breaker. We all have our limits - I think it''s kinda funny that she grabbed a sword of all things. *** was a sword doing in their house anyway? Is one of them a ninja?

The guy should have done the dishes. She should have the right to throw him out of the house, by the point of a sword if nessisary. Annnnd, she should not have gone to jail. ------------------------------------------------------ Posted by gandaulf2000

AGREED! Whats wrong with some guys that they cant just do what their told, and shut their yaps? She put up with this jerquewad for four months, and thats four months TOO LONG!

Joseph Boykins needs to GROW UP, learn how to do his chores, spend a little time in JAIL, apologise, and pay the Forth Worth Police the cost of their time to have to put up with this 21-year-old juvenile!

Well those of us women who don''''t just stay at home and expect our men to be the "bread winners" actually split the chores... I don''''t do the dishes and household chores all on my own. That''''s a ridiculous comment and you are obivously walked all over and controlled.

Now the gun control nuts will have a reason to start lobbying for restrictions on sharp objects.
