Competition in the online dating industry is starting to heat up Speeddate has raised a $6 million second round led by Menlo Ventures, reports TechCrunch The Palo Also-based company's first round was not specified. Like speed-dating in the real world, the site is designed for quick interactions, based on video. WooMe is another one in this space to have gotten funding, as it also takes advantage of live video to facilitate quick interactions.
