Bigfoot Claim Exposed As Hoax

"Bigfoot" Carcass Just A Rubber Gorilla Suit

(AP)  Turns out Bigfoot was just a rubber suit.

Two researchers on a quest to prove the existence of Bigfoot say that the carcass encased in a block of ice - handed over to them for an undisclosed sum by two men who claimed to have found it - was slowly thawed out, and discovered to be a rubber gorilla outfit.

The revelation comes just days after a much ballyhooed news conference was held in California to proclaim that the remains of the creature found in the North Georgia mountains was the legendary man-ape.

Steve Kulls, executive director of squatchdetective.com and host of Squatchdetective Radio, says in a posting on a Web site run by Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi that as the "evidence" was thawed, the claim began to unravel as a giant hoax.

First, the hair sample was burned and "melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair," Kulls said in the posting.

The thawing process was sped up and the exposed head was found to be "unusually hollow in one small section." An hour of thawing later and the feet were exposed - and they were found to be made of rubber.

Matt Whitton, an officer who has been on medical leave from the Clayton County Police Department, and Rick Dyer, a former Georgia corrections officer, announced the find in early July on YouTube videos and a Web site.

"Everyone who has talked down to us is going to eat their words," Whitton said at the time.

Phone calls to Whitton and Dyer went unreturned on Tuesday. But the voicemail recording for their Bigfoot Tip Line - which proclaims they search for leprechauns and the Loch Ness monster - has been updated and announcing they're also in search of "big cats and dinosaurs. If you see any of those, give us a call."

On Tuesday, Clayton County Police Chief Jeff Turner said he has not spoken to Whitton but processed paperwork to fire him.

"Once he perpetrated a fraud, that goes into his credibility and integrity," Turner said. "He has violated the duty of a police officer."

Hat''s off to Whitton and Dyer for exposing the media for the dipshitz they are. Okay people, move along... there''s nothing to see here. I''m sure we have a late breaking celebrity scandle to attract your moth like attention right after the next commercial break. LOL!

I''m trying to keep an open mind and know that there a lot of HOAX''s out there. These guys need to be punished for what they did. However, there have been a lot of creditable people that have had sightings. I often read reports from several sources and honestly believe in the possibility that these creatures do exist. Many creatures in the wild are rarely seen.

Loch Ness Monster spotted in Rio Grande...Mexicans call him El Loco NessO MonsterO, believed to be Mexico''s biggest coyote, ferrying illegals into the United States. Border Patrol spokesman says "biggest lettuce picker he has ever seen." Texas prosecuter believed to be giving him "immunity" if he will testify against former Border Patrol officers Ramos and Compean. Now... back to the story that was about as believeable as this one.

I really think it is highly unlikely for 5000 bigfoots to hide from human view without being caught over the course of the last 50 years. (This number is probably what it would take to sustain a population without inbreeding.)

Then there are the facts that no skeletons, valid hair samples, foraging evidence, or living quarters have been found.

Most importantly, if you know anything about hunting dogs, you would realize that it would be extremely easy to track and catch up with a bigfoot with a good pack of dogs.

Bigfoot is just you looking over your shoulder when you get out of bed or are unpresentable or something, the image of which may be used as a shield for anyone who doesn''t want their nude picture (such as a model) exposed online... Or is it real? Is there a legend of civilized Bigfoot?

I love how Tom Biscardi is now trying to pretend that HE was duped along with everyone else! I guess he thinks that everyone forgot that HE got up and was making all the wild claims and swearing that he had seen it, touched it and smelled it ... and it was all genuine! He made a fool of himself and has no credibility, but is now trying to blame the two nitwits.

By now, Whitton must wish he had never opened his mouth. As an employer, I know that once I checked his references, I would not hire him.

What a riot!! There''s even a Bigfoot Hotline that people can call, that is too funny! He deserves to be fired, because he obviously misunderstands what honesty means and that a necessary requirement for being a decent police officer is that you must have a set of morals. Get rid of his worthless ***, he''s a joke to law enforcement everywhere. He and his Leprechaun finding/Loch Ness monster hunting pal(s), they''re as big a farce as all the Bigfoot claims ever were. A perfect example here of how those small, pee sized brains truly do operate and function, so very pathetic aren''t they? Ha!!

These people are making it harder and harder to make a decent living writing myths... The grainy photos, dark shadowy creatures and non-discrypt shapes seen on a misty lake are the elements of a good mystery, and these backwoods red neck podunks are no more imaginative than a rubber Halloween suit in a freezer. "Heh Vern tat look like tat big foot thing I heard of think them science guys with the thick glasses will buy it"

Now these bright individuals (buyers) from the Georgia woods didn''t stop to think how in the he11 did these two sellers find a Big Foot incased in ice in/on a Georgia Mountain? It get hot in the summer in Georgia. This state is not like Alaska where there may be snow at lower elevations year-round. I think the researchers got what they paid for, if for no other reason than being too ignorant to not think first before parting with their $$.

These jokers never bought the rubber suit from anyone. They put the suit in the freezer themselves. It was a publicity stunt in which they tried to blame the imaginary seller.

I can see right through the whole scheme.

Interesting set of enterprising men. hey have gained world wide attention, as well as an ''un-disclosed'' amount of cash. Easy way to make money quick. It has been claimed that we have a large herd of Bigfoots hiding in the very large range of state land, military owned land, as well as federal owned land here in Michigan. Then again, the DNR (dept of natural resource) has been very adament that we have NO Cougar/mountain lions here since around 1880. In the past 10 yrs or so, it has been proven MANY times over, that attacks on large wild life we have here, such as elk, and a rare few moose still do hide out, but when you find one of these huge carcasses, or deep gouges on a horse from the fight, we have bears here, but even they arent large enough to do some of the damage that these large animals have endured. Then finally a couple years ago, a couple of farmers shot 2 of them, while attacking there cows. So..DNR was wrong on that one. But the Bigfoot claims still come out here every few yrs, mainly over near Alcona county. I lived upnorth for 25 yrs of my life, and the only bigfoot I ever encountered, was the one I married, and later divorced.

This is a lot like the deception of WMD used by Bush to defraud this nation of hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of US solderier''s lives and untold number of Iraqi dead.

This guy gets fired, Bush continues to strut, smirk and crow as he installs missiles in Poland and the Czech Republic.

The democratic wimps under Pelosi and Reid do nothing. The Dems deserve to lose and these bigfoot "artists" fit right in with a generation of lying poltiicians.
