Edwards' Ex-Mistress' Sister Pans Both

(CBS)  The family of John Edwards' "other woman" is "very upset" with both Edwards and his former mistress, Rielle Hunter, Hunter's sister says.

In an exclusive interview with "ET," Roxanne Druck Marshall told ET's Thea Andrews her heart goes out to Edwards' wife, Elizabeth, who has advanced breast cancer.

Marshall says, if she could, she would tell Elizabeth, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what my sister did and what her husband did, too. I mean, they both did it together. You don't make a baby with one person, and it's horrible. I mean, what she must be thinking, and feeling. I just... my heart goes out to her."

It should be noted that Edwards denies fathering Hunter's baby.

Andrews says Marshall described her family as hurt and embarrassed by what happened.

And, during a preview of the ET story, Andrews remarked to Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith, "Roxanne tells me she believes John Edwards has her sister hidden away somewhere, so the press won't be able to find her."

Andrews added, "Roxanne says John Edwards has been untruthful in many of his statements to the media about the affair. She says that, contrary to what John Edwards says, the affair with her sister started long before she started working on the campaign, and that it never really ended; that they are still in contact today, that they've spoken recently, and that her sister is still very much in love with John Edwards."

Edwards has welcomed a paternity test.

Hunter refuses to have a paternity test.

There are plenty of reasons why she could have refused to reveal the paternity of the child other than the simplistic view that she "JUST WANTS TO PROTECT EDWARDS."

She may want to damage his marriage, so if the child is his, him not proving it hurts his marriage. She may have loved him, so when he said that he didn''t love her, she could have taken it personally, and doesn''t want to help him at all. There is also the possibility that the child isn''t Edwards'' or Young''s, which would be embarrassing for her and prove that she''s blackmailing these guys for money if she told one of them that it was their''s.

There is also a rumor out there that the child may be IN VITRO. Which would go along with that.

Based on Lisa Druck''s (Rielle Hunter) lifestyle, odds are the child isn''t either Edwards'' or Andrew Young''s, which would ALSO explain why she doesn''t want to have a paternity test.

These people who assume that she doesn''t want to have a paternity test to "PROTECT" Edwards are shallow-thinkers.

Don''t worry the book she will write will make her very rich, you can stop this just so long, and he will go down even more, and his and her family will suffer even more humiliation. People like this only care about themselves

Why are you attacking the sister, when all she''s doing is telling the truth ? Her sister made a huge mistake, not to mention a baby, with a married man. It sounds like the affair is still going on, and the baby is John Edwards'' - though he lies about that. Why lie ? Why pay money to her ? Why spirit her around in private planes to unknown locations ? I used to think John Edwards was a smart man, but any man in the public eye who cheats on his wife and doesn''t use a condom is insane - three strikes right there. And he''s still lying about it, trying damage control. He''s too stupid to be anything but a national joke. I feel sorry for his kids, who cannot possibly understand why their world is falling down around them. Their poor mom is so sick, and their dad is a total horn dog idiot.

How much money have you been paid? Is she really your sister? how can you talk about your family. you supposed to be supporting her not againt her. How sad. Do you think she do not have morals. How about you? Your sister is old enough to be responsable for her actions. There is only one sad history on this, the baby, she is an innocent victim. John Edwards should tell the media and his wife that he is the father of the baby. Your sister is not married and does not have a family. John Edwards is the married man and he made a terrible mistake.

Whether ET paid her or not, she''s just confirming what I thought...that it is Edwards'' kid and girlfriend...There always was something about him that screamed SLIME...he needs to get himself fixed...in every way!
