According to two law enforcement officials, Clark Rockefeller's fingerprints, taken after his capture, were linked to an out-of-state license application under a different name, presumably yet another alias, the Globe reports. That name is on a list of people wanted in a homicide case in California, according to the officials.
"A fingerprint connected him to a license application, and an alias on the application connected him to a murder in California," one of the two officials told the Globe.
Authorities released no details of the crime, except to say it was committed more than a decade ago, the Globe reported.
An attorney for Rockefeller said Tuesday the man did not kidnap his own child, nor does he have any link to a California slaying.
Stephen Hrones told reporters that Clark Rockefeller is not guilty of abducting Reigh Boss.
"How could you kidnap your own daughter?" Hrones said. "He loves his daughter. Kidnapping doesn't apply, it was his own kid."
Hrones also denied a report in The Boston Globe that Rockefeller's fingerprints may be linked to a slaying investigation in California.
On Tuesday, Rockefeller arrived in Massachusetts to face arraignment. He landed at Logan Airport at about 10 a.m. and was whisked away by law enforcement officials.
A Suffolk District Attorney's Office spokesman says Rockefeller will be booked and processed and is expected to face arraignment later Tuesday.
Police say Rockefeller, who has multiple aliases, abducted his 7-year-old daughter, Reigh Boss, July 27 on a supervised visit. Police apprehended him Saturday in Baltimore, where he had purchased a house and boat. He faces charges of felony parental kidnapping, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
When Sandra Boss was told that her little girl was found safe and sound, "she collapsed into my arms. She was overjoyed," a Boston Police deputy superintendent said Monday.
Thomas Lee, speaking to CBS' The Early Show, called it "one of the most rewarding moments in my police career."
Boston police told the Boston Globe that it appears Rockefeller was setting up a new life in Baltimore at the time of arrest.
The seller of a home Rockefeller bought for $450,000 cash a month ago says he called himself Chip Smith and mentioned his daughter was coming to live with him.
"We understand his boat has been down there at least two years and he had been traveling in the area for some time over the last year," Lee told The Early Show.
Authorities are still trying to determine his real identity after they uncovered additional aliases he used in Maryland.

I do not think proclaiming to be a christain makes a person a christain. To claim you are and that anyone who does not believe the same as you will go to hell is not christain. It is not your place to judge anyone. If you are turly a christain i think you need to study your scriptures more. - Reply to this comment
- The secret to be ing a good lawyer is never comment on anything you do not have to. To sew seeds of doubt enough to persuade one juror there is reasonable doubt is the job of a good attorney. They do noit have to believe their client is innocent, only provide enough doubt about the guilt.

- They are both idiots. And any woman that would marry a man and not know what he did for a living, for a FACT, is the biggest idiot of all. You don''t have to do a background check, you just have to have a brain.

Some states test anyone convicted of a crime but not all. Las Vegas has a city law where you are required to bring in any handguns you own and register with city. They give you a registration card and also perform a balistics test on the weapon. I think this is an excellent law. I am a law abiding citizen who likes having the right to carry but with the right i believe also comes responsibility. - Reply to this comment
- He''s just a conman, kidnapper, and possibly a murderer. Thank goodness the judge ruled the mother gets custody, and the social worker who put her body on the line to try to stop him from kidnapping the little girl is a hero here.
He''s no father, that''s for sure. No father would refuse to reveal his real name when that would cost him visits with his little girl - not unless the truth about himself was so very dark and wrong that it would stop him from ever seeing her. I wonder how much more there is to find out about this guy. - Reply to this comment
- I''m just wondering if anyone might know if all states take DNA test of all prisoners ? No matter what they are charged with. I heard some states do and have solved some cold case crimes. But do they do that in ALL the prisons in ALL states ?

- f you recall, in your obsessive zeal to promote the idea I''''m a pedophile, I offered to conclusively prove I was not if you would put up $10,000.
Still waiting for the money. . .

sorry--- I don''t pay pedophiles money and I certainly would never pay someone to prove or disprove a viewpoint--whatever you are--your old posts and many of your new ones SPEAK VOLUMES. You have a problem with women and our laws and the concept that some segments of society like our young need to be shielded by laws to prevent exploitation. That much is clear. But you digress--you stated you had no responses for me if I was not talking about the actual blog article--try to stay focused. LOL - Reply to this comment
- I will almost feel relieved if this little girl''s father goes to prison for murder. Maybe he will get enough time that she will be grown when he gets out, and he will lose interest in using her as a possession.

- Why are you people playing tuckerSUXkok game! Everyone has an opinion, let him have his. Ignore him if you don''t like it and more than likely he will go away if you don''t play with him!
The father in the story will get his day in court, hopefully all will come out and the jury will do thier job and do what they were asked to do. Listen to the informaion and then decide if he is guilty or innocent. HE is innocent until proven guilty!!! - Reply to this comment

Now, that''''s REALLY funny.
You whining about biased people serving on juries without including yourself. . .
If people like you were allowed to serve on a jury, every man who came before the court would be convicted of child molesting regardless what he was accused of doing.
Unfortunately, many juries are composed of people like you who watch way too much tv and listen to way too much feminist propaganda.

You get very little attention tucker--try to stick to your comments about not responding to me unless I am talking about the article. I have served on several juries, I''m proud to say. You are a pedophile, aren''t you? - Reply to this comment
- Yep, a poor pathetic little nobody who fantasizes that he is somebody here in this little website! tucker, the patheric loser who can''t make real friends, so he comes here to rant and take his 74 IQ out for a spin.

- You would think someone who went through so much trouble to establish so many aliases over the years would have been loathe to bring himself to the attention of the authorities. Was he really involved in a murder? Who knows? Something led him to continually change his identity--maybe it was fraud? Again, who knows?
What we do know is that this man is not trustworthy and has felt the need to screen his real id for years with various names--we also know he is good at running, trying to set up new ids and has no scruples about flouting court orders or assaulting social workers to get his way--how far the rabbit hole goes is anyone''s guess--the real danger is that as time progresses and the lies of Mr Bizarro continue to play out--that authorities might use him as a scapegoat to tie up loose ends for murders with--but it all started by the antics/exploits to get Snooks all to himself--wonder why he risked it all? LOL - Reply to this comment
- How does his lawyer know the "truth?" Is he psychic? The suspect lied to his wife, his friends, his co-workers and the police, why not lie to his lawyer and keep the theme going?
Posted by NMlost at 05:35 PM : Aug 05, 2008
The "truth" has nothing to do with the Lawyer. They have no interest in the "truth". His only job is to get his client off --even if the man is a murderer. To that end, planting the seeds of doubt by pretending to know the "real truth" is a standard lawyer tactic--hoping to confuse potential jurors. His prints are linked to a murder case--that does not mean he committed the murder. He did knock down a social worker and leave with his daughter against court orders--note the lawyer does not address the assault charge to the social worker. Obviously his tactic will be to say the laws that say going against a court order and taking a child is kidnapping is unconstitutional or not valid laws--it does not mean he is right--but he has to try all the moves he can get.
The prosecution should limit the amount of Tuckers they allow on the Jury and he will be in jail where he belongs--for a while. - Reply to this comment

- Hey, CBS management!!!
How about you guys sending me a royalty check?
If you read the comments on nearly any board on which I participate, many of them, if not the majority, are either directed at me or refer to me.
Which is okay but seems to me y''''all should be paying me royalties for the increased traffic.
I seem to generate more interest and traffic than the headline story.
So, how about it? When can I expect my first check?

A grown woman must have really cleaned tuckers clock one day--ever since--he has spewed his hatred of them. Note I say grown--tuck is okay with younger girls who can be manipulated. LOL Odds are, what tucker does in real life if he is not simply fantasizing about it--probably is illegal in most states and disgusting and sickening in most of the world. - Reply to this comment
