President Bush's close friend and chief political strategist announces he's leaving the White House.

(AP)  Des Moines police arrested four people Friday who attempted a citizen's arrest of former White House adviser Karl Rove.

Rove was in Des Moines to speak at a fundraiser.

A news release says a retired minister and three members of the Des Moines Catholic Workers community were cited for trespassing and released.

The four accused Rove of election fraud and conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud the United States in the time before the Iraq war.

The arrest complaint also says they accused Rove of treason, sedition and subversive activities for fraudulent acts leading to the deaths of 300,000 Iraqi civilians and 4,000 U.S. Military personnel.

Kirk Brown and Mona Shaw, two of the four arrested Friday, attempted a similar arrest last March when Rove spoke at the University of Iowa.

The Democrat Party today is essentially a Marxist Socialist Party, core values are income redistribution, 70% marginal tax rate, USSR style health care system... with total federal control over all. Through out history, these policies have been tried and re-tried, and have been proven to be failures over and over again. But today''s Democrats ignore the lessons of history, and charge down the Marxist path to total socialism.. it will be the failure of the USA, as it has been to every Nation on earth that has implemented these Marxist policies.

Presidential approaval ratings spike during was so how sad that some think 30 % is good. Even Fox opinion had bush''s approval rating at 27% just a few days ago. www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm How pathetic.

Republicans only method of debate is to appeal to the emotions of UNeducated and ILlogical persons. Republicans insult and discredit anyone who dares to disagree with them. Why? Because the facts of logic and history do not support the idiotic agenda republicans are always trying to advance.

9/11 happened on bush''s watch and 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq. There''s a couple of facts which others like so well.

you libs make me laugh.. but you are the cancer of this nation.. with your emotional and baseless reasoning.
same reason your Democrat led congress has a 9% approval rating, while Bush is at 38% approval. Team Bush has beat you libs every time, now get over it. Oh, Just one more thing to add.. FACT: there have been no terrorist Attacks in the USA since 911.. thanks to BUSH policies.

YEA IOWA! I am now a BIG fan of the smart Iowans (the dems of course). Citizen''s Arrest! That is great! Wouldn''t you just love to kick all the fascist pigs out of the White House? I can''t believe they are still there! Liberals are tolerant until the law is broken, US constitution is spat upon, millions are murdered in Iraq including over 4000 of of own brave people because Duh-bya lied and spent trillions of dollars that we don''t have. Thanks to him, China owns our butt.
So I am so glad to know that somewhere in our country there still lives some decent citizens. Hope you can catch the *** the next time.

Isn''''t is legal to make a citizen''''s arrest?

Posted by getoffmine at 01:57 PM : Jul 28, 2008

------------------------------------------------------

I belive you can make a citizen''s arrest if you witness someone break the law but that does not give you the right to drum up some charge yourself and make a citizen''s arrest. If you could I would arrest these 4 people and charge them with being stupid in public.

I''''m going to arrest the entire media for malfeasance if they don''''t start reporting the John Edwards story. I''''m a North Carolina Democrat, but I think it''''s news that Edwards was running from reporters in a hotel in the middle of the night after visiting the room of a woman with whom he is rumored to have an illegitimate child!!!

%u2022 Liberals speak often of tolerance, but they only tolerate Liberals and Liberal ideas.
%u2022 The Liberal seeks to criminalize any speech that promotes morality or individualism as "hate speech." Thus we see Liberal Judges and Liberal Courts outlawing the Bible and gutting the free speech provisions of the first amendment of the constitution. Liberal Judges are now declaring that the Bible''s proscriptions against homosexuality are illegal "hate speech" and scripture is now in the process of being outlawed from any appearance in public discourse or the public square.
%u2022 The Liberal''s only method of debate is to appeal to the emotions of uneducated and illogical persons. Liberals seek to insult and discredit anyone who dares to disagree with them, especially in the college classroom. Why? Because the facts of logic and history do not support the agenda they are seeking to advance.

ron-mon: sadly the monsters will all escape (but escape for only a season) with Bush to his multi thousand acre ranch, armed by 500+ soldiers (funded by you and me the fools we are) in Paraguay (Paraguay has given Bush and his *** minions absolute diplomatic immunity again ALL crimes)as soon as they leave the white house. But there is a day of judgement to come--they WILL pay the piper; oh yeah and His name is GOD of All Gods. The judge has already stood up from His throne to pass judgement! Be afraid you skum filth of the earth. Your day is coming; Oh yeah!!

Rove should just give in. I wonder if he''s so deluded to think that he has "exectutive privildge" for life. Bush, Cheney, Rove and the gang will be testifying in less than a year @ the Iraq war that Greenspan said in his own book that it was started for "business". Also, the torture of detainees that the Supreme Court in 2006 said is unlawful, the leaks of CIA agents and too many to mention other crimes.

Hey Rove, why fight it? I bet you wish you had "executive priviledge" for life, huh? You have less than a year before you give the testimony that you''ve been hiding from.

This must be why Rove and his ilk won''t go to parts of the country (think urban California) where the police might actually *support* a worthwhile action like this.

and, by the way, while I applaud the actions of the four in Iowa, may God bless them, these monsters, this machine cannot and will not be stopped. They will fulfill their agenda. May God have mercy on those not involved and may He bring them to swift justice--His justice. I actually feel sorry for the perpetrators as much as I feel for their victims.

IOWEIGN, you''re a waste of space.

I grieve at America''s ruinous fate carved out at the hands of these monsters. I believe we will literally succumb to third world status, evident to even the most dim witted within the next five or less years, as their carefully laid out plan to bring America to her knees in quest for globalization, has succeeded brilliantly to date. I fear not only for the diminished quality of life for my grandchildren but for their very life.
