DSCC, DCCC Post Strong Fundraising Numbers
(The Politico)
Congressional Democrats continue to hold a healthy financial advantage over their Republican counterparts, according to the newly released fundraising figures from the House and Senate campaign committees.
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee announced it raised $10.8 million in June and ended the just-completed quarter with $21 million raised — their highest quarterly total this election cycle. The DSCC now has $46.2 million in its campaign account to spend, about double that of the GOP’s Senate campaign arm.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee raised $6 million in June, with $15.3 million raised for the entire quarter.
On the House side, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee now has over six times as much campaign cash as the National Republican Congressional Committee after posting another strong monthly fundraising tally.
The DCCC raised $10 million in June, and reported $54.7 million cash on hand at the end of the month. The NRCC raised $6.1 million in June, and ended June with $8.5 million in its campaign account.
