Khloe Kardashian Sentenced To Jail For DUI Probation Violation

Khloe Kardashian's next dose of reality will involve the county jail.

The reality show star and youngest daughter of the late attorney Robert Kardashian admitted during a July 3 court hearing that she violated her probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving arrest, according to court records.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Kardashian, who's featured on E! Entertainment Television's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," to surrender to authorities on Friday and serve up to 30 days in jail.

Kardashian will also have to enroll in an alcohol treatment program as one of the terms of probation. She will also remain on probation.

"Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved," said her publicist, Jeff Raymond.

It's unclear how long Kardashian, 23, will remain in jail. Her drunken driving arrest was featured in an episode of the E! series.

Her father gained fame for helping to represent O.J. Simpson after the former football star was accused of murder.

Kyra Sedgwick On Marriage To Kevin Bacon

Kyra Sedgwick appears on the August cover of Redbook as she gets ready to kick off her fourth season playing the smart and sassy police chief on TNT’s Golden Globe Award-winning drama The Closer.

This role is noted as her biggest career boost yet, but at the cost of leaving her New York-based family for half of the year. In the August issue, Sedgwick talks about finding a balance between work and home and how she and husband Kevin Bacon keep it going after 20 years of marriage.

On being married to Kevin Bacon for 20 years: "I never in a million years thought there would be sides to Kevin that I’m still learning…I think the trust gets deeper and the dependency gets deeper, which is scary."

On plans for their 20th anniversary: "I think that no matter what, sex has to be involved. But for our anniversary we would also like to have a party, so we might include Kev's birthday as well, since they are only a couple of months apart."

On what she remembers about first meeting Kevin: "He definitely wasn't my type. In fact, I vividly remember looking at his butt when he walked away after we first met and thinking, Well, I guess some girls like that. And now it's one of my favorite parts of his anatomy!"

Jolie's Dad Happy About New Twin Grandchildren

Jon Voight says he's doubly happy about his ultra-famous new grandchildren.

Voight says he's "so excited" that daughter Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins in southern France.

He says he hasn't spoken to Jolie yet. The two have been estranged for many years.

But speaking during a Television Critics Association press tour, Voight said: "My heart is with them and all my love goes to them."

Jolie gave birth to Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in Nice on
Saturday with proud papa Brad Pitt at her side.

Ricci To Guest Star On TNT Drama

Christina Ricci has signed on for a three-episode guest-starring role on the TNT drama "Saving Grace."

Ricci will play a young detective who temporarily partners with Grace, played by series star Holly Hunter, while her full-time partner Ham Dewey takes a leave of absence.

Ricci's television credits include an Emmy-nominated guest appearance on "Grey's Anatomy" in 2006, as well as a recurring role on "Ally McBeal."

"Saving Grace" stars Hunter as an Oklahoma City cop who blends an intense career focus with attempts to reform an often volatile personal life. The show's second season bowed Monday.

Rush To Perform On "The Colbert Report"

Rush will be appearing on "The Colbert Report," and it's not Limbaugh.

The Canadian band Rush, which hasn't performed on U.S. television in more than three decades, will play their classic "Tom Sawyer" on the Comedy Central show Wednesday (11:30 p.m. EST). The Geddy Lee-led trio, which is currently on tour, hasn't played on U.S. television since 1975.

Rush is only the latest act to perform on "The Report," which has steadily edged closer to "Ed Sullivan Show" territory. With increasingly frequent musical performances, "The Report" has grown a variety-show impulse, evident in other upcoming bookings.

The rapper Nas will perform on July 23, Toby Keith will return for a second performance on July 28 and Crosby, Stills and Nash will play on July 30.

The Stephen Colbert-hosted comedy show was originally launched as a parody of conservative political punditry — and shows like "The O'Reilly Factor" do not make a habit of hosting music performances.

But "The Report" circus has expanded into musical realms, often with its sonorous host joining in. John Legend, Neil Young, R.E.M., Tony Bennett, Peter Frampton, Willie Nelson, Barry Manilow, John Mellencamp, the Roots and Carole King have all performed on the show.

Colbert's enthusiasm for the music has been easily apparent. He's sung the Star Spangled Banner (in two-part harmony) with Legend, and mocked the MTV-style band interview by questioning R.E.M. from a stool twice the size of those the band sat on.

Judge OKs James Brown Auction In New York

A South Carolina judge says an auction of James Brown's belongings in New York can go forward as planned this week.

South Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Jasper Cureton on Monday lifted a temporary stay that could have held up the sale of the late soul singer's belongings.

Christie's auction house has planned the bidding for Thursday. Among the 320 items for sale are a red jumpsuit and blue satin cape.

The singer's former business managers, Buddy Dallas and Alfred Bradley, had argued the auction should be stopped. They claimed the court should not have been able to appoint new trustees to handle Brown's estate.

Brown died on Christmas Day in 2006 of heart failure. He was 73.
