Christie Brinkley Describes "Nightmare"

Christie Brinkley says it was a "nightmare" to put on a brave face and throw a birthday party with 30 kids amid revelations that husband had an affair with a teenager.

But the model - testifying Monday at the custody portion of her Long Island divorce trial - says homespun family celebrations are part of a lifestyle that means the world to her.

She tearfully told the court: "That's the most important thing to have a big, happy family."

Brinkley says she tried to spare her kids the messy details of the breakup, including her discovery of husband Peter Cook's Internet porn habits.

She told the children: "I think Daddy has fallen out of love with me." But she assured them they would always be "very, very loved."

If a cheating husband is a nightmare, what will happen if she looses a child, or involved in a plane crash. This woman needs to get out of the bubble.

Edgar, are you serious?! I am laughing so hard right now I can barely type. "Breach of contract" and "service him"!? What planet are your from? Why would she need to "secure him, via marriage"? She has more money than he does. The only mistake she made was marrying him so now she has to kick him to the curb legally, rather than just tossing his stuff on the lawn and leaving him a note to go live with his teenage bimbo.

Rather than all this silly drama, why don''t they both just tell the truth. Up until they were married, she aggressively gave him the Monica Lewinsky treatment. He was hopelessly addicted to that pleasure. She decided that she had secured him, via marriage, and didn''t need to service him anymore. The teenage bimbo knew what he needed and offered to provide it for him. He accepted. If Christie hadn''t committed a breach of contract in the first place, this whole mess could have been avoided. But as everyone knows, she does what she wants to do, and thats it.
