(AP)  Britain's defense ministry says the Royal Navy ship where Prince William is serving has made a major cocaine bust at sea.

The prince helped his crew mates on HMS Iron Duke intercept a speedboat northeast of Barbados on Saturday. He was aboard a helicopter attached to the frigate that spotted a speedboat and grew suspicious that such a small vessel should be so far from land, the ministry said.

The helicopter crew informed the ship's commanding officer, and the ship gave chase. U.S. Coast Guard officials working on the British frigate boarded the speedboat and found 45 bales of cocaine weighing 1,900 pounds. Five people were detained.

"He was in the helicopter on Saturday morning when the search was conducted," Commanding Officer Mark Newland told Sky News. "He was able to provide surveillance to the team. He's a professional navy officer, he understands the context we're operating in so he's able to help in every way."

The drugs had an estimated street value of $80 million, the ministry said Wednesday.

William, known in the navy as Sub-Lieutenant Wales, is spending five weeks at sea so he can experience all branches of the British armed forces. He is already a junior officer in the army and he has earned his wings in the Royal Air Force.

Newland said he had been ordered to involve the prince in all operations.

The Iron Duke began hurricane relief and counter-narcotics duties in the Atlantic last week and is due to remain in the area until October.

After the drug bust, Prince William reportedly was overheard telling his crew mates, "This is great! I feel like I can fly!"

This reminded Prince William of his first nanny, Mrs. Iron Panty.

When Prince Andrew and his new wife withdrew to their room after the ceremony, the only thing his bride could think of was getting her shoes off. The rest of the royal family crowded around the door to the bedroom, and they heard roughly what they expected: grunts, straining noises, and an occasional muffled scream.

Eventually, they heard Andrew say, "My word, that was tight."

"There," whispered Queen Elizabeth, listening outside the door. "I told you she was a virgin!"

Then, to their surprise, they heard Andrew say, "Right. Now for the other one."

This was followed by more grunting and straining, and, at last, Andrew said, "My Goodness. That was even tighter."

"That''s my boy," said Prince Philip. "Once a sailor, always a sailor."

An ordinary sailor in the Royal Navy wants to marry an Admirals daugher, the Admiral has no problem with this, as the lad has good prospects and may become on officer in time.

However, he takes his beloved wee girl aside just before the wedding and says, "look, sailors spend a lot of time at sea with no female company and all sorts of strange things go on, now if your husband asks for *** ''the other way'' promise me you will say no, this is an unnatural act"

She says "Daddy, I love you, thanks for the fatherly advice, of course I''ll say no"

After three years of blissful marriage, the wife decides that there *** life is getting a bit stale so she turns to her husband and says "Darling..... shall we try doing it the ''other way" He replies, "what? and risk having kids? no way!!!"

Just a week ago, he was downing vodka shots and playing polo in London for his 26th birthday. See the link:

And, now he is serving aboard a Royal navy ship and intercepting drug smugglers?

My.. that beats even James Bond.

Advantages of being a prince, I guess.
