The Televen channel yanked the animated hit from its lineup in April after regulators said its 11 a.m. showing violated broadcast rules intended to protect young viewers. "The Simpsons" returned to the air at night, and was replaced in the morning with "Baywatch Hawaii."
Venezuela's National Telecommunications Commission on Monday said it will choose short segments, including two 30-second "cultural and educational messages" per day, which the station must broadcast for 30 days as a sanction.

- The Simpsons should add a character to the show named Yugo Cha Cha. He could be an exiled dictator who runs around calling mayor Quimby "The Devil"

- Yes, please do replace shows like this with more "Christian" programming, NASCAR,country music channels
and Faux News. Then I can stop making excuses for not cancelling cable once & for all.
When are we going to be able to pick channels we want instead of getting religious & redneck *** on our bills? Cable Co''s could sell more and open up even more channels if they gave people what they wanted.

- Did the TV programmers ever figure out that it wasn''t a children''s show? Did they think it was Sponge Bob? Did anyone ever figure out that Baywatch Miami isn''t exactly a children''s show either. Who are these clowns and how did they get their jobs.

Now I wonder how we seperate those "sick and repulsive...Rotten inside" that watch "The Simpson''s" form those that don''t.
I, personally, find the show idiotic, worthless, and lacking any imagination. I find it to be a total waste of time and refuse to even have it play on my TV. But, then again, when my kids were kids I also disallowed MTV, Rin and Snippy, and others. - Reply to this comment
- I have never watched that show. I tuned in to it a couple of times but there was something sick and repulsive about it so I swapped channels. I would suspect that people who watch it a lot be come sick and repulsive themselves. Rotten inside.
