(PaidContent.org)  This story was written by Joseph Weisenthal.
Vitrue, a social media marketer that has Comcast (NSDQ: CMCSA) and Turner as investors, is acquiring UGENMedia, a NY-based firm in the same space. The company says the deal will allow it to expand its capabilities, while giving it a foothold in NYC (Vitrue is based in Atlanta). UGENMedia co-founders Adam Benjamin Roger Jehenson, previously at DoubleClick and RightMedia, will be joining Vitrue, and they say all employees will be retained. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but one bit of financial info in the release is that Vitrue has raised a total of $15 million. When we reported on the company's last funding, its raise was not disclosed. Customers of the company include Pepsi and 1-800-Flowers. Release.
