Kids Exposed To Strippers At Golf Course

Scantily Clad Ladies Arrived At A Colorado Golf Course Just As The Kids Wrapped Up A Tournament

(AP)  A close encounter between flirtatious strippers and children playing in a golf tournament was the result of "mistiming," golf course officials said Tuesday as they apologized to parents.

The scantily clad women spilled out of a limousine as the youngsters were finishing their game as part of the Gold Crown Junior Golf Association tournament Monday. Tournament officials said they were not warned the strippers would be arriving before the end of the game for children, who ranged in age from 7 to 12.

The women were part of Shotgun Willie's Charity Golf Tournament to benefit breast cancer. The strippers were to serve as caddies to patron's of the strip club. A club manager said there were 144 golfers and 70 caddies.

A woman told KUSA-TV the event drew curious questions from her children, who asked her why the men joining the strippers had water guns and why the women wore only their underwear. KUSA said the woman declined to be identified.

Eagle Trace Golf Course manager Evelyn Koch says the women were forbidden from going topless and that they were just flirting with the men.

"I cannot tell you the girls didn't flash out there but it wasn't a free-for-all," Koch said. She said the Shotgun Willie's crowd and the young golfers had to share the same clubhouse while the children had lunch because their tournament started later than expected.

Still, she said the Broomfield golf course was sorry children were present when the strippers arrived.

Golf course instructor Dustin Moser said some of the strippers "got a little out of control" but that it happened after the children had left.

Aren't the representitves of Shotgun Willie's suposed to entise participants of the tournament to offer charity to the Breast Cancer foundation. Not Everyone gives up there money to go on a walk or be in a bike ride. My sister recently died of cancer and belive me some one with cancer will take all the help they can get! Think of this as a real life experience for the children on how important life is . For Christian goers like myself, life is full of right and wrong or as it is said rightous or worldly. Don't forget only god can judge and this is a form of gossip. So who ever it is that thinks they are high and mighty or better than even one other, maybe your on the wrong path. As for these gurls their intentions are well directed. If someone takes advantage of their kindness, shame them for their misleading behavior (the body is a beautiful thing).Feelings people, Children are young and impressionable but adults have been through enough to feel the blows!

P.S. I love you

Women entertain at parties to amuse the club patrons. Morality issues have nothing to do with the law. Celibates do not have the right to make federal statutes. Dancers hired by a club serve a legal purpose.

Ahh, CiitizenUSA, my mistake for thinking my post was clear enough. If you''ll read my post, you''ll note my implied reference to body image problems, not societal problems overall. I, too, have been to Europe and have numerous friends that live there. I understand they have problems in other areas, in other ways, but then this whole conversation is centered around *** (secks) and nudity, yes? As for your "this isn''t Europe and wasn''t meant to be" comment, no, it isn''t. However, one should never turn one''s nose up at a chance to emulate something (or some way) better (body image culture in this case, remember?) because it comes from ''over there''.

Caeric, ahh, my little naive person. I need to make some points. One, this is isn''t Europe, and it wasn%u2019t meant to be. Two, your post implies Europe doesn''t have problems. I assure you, they simply have a different set of problems (different culture/different country = different problems) Three, you imply that us not wanting public nudity causes "problems". Prove it.
I for one have traveled all over Europe. I''ve even lived there for awhile. And I''m really weary of people comparing the US to Europe. If you truly believe they have it better over there, there are plenty of airlines that go there, and it''s not impossible to move there. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but I assure you, most of the time this is illusion.

How shocking that these little kids were forced to look at pretty women in their underwear. I am sure they are all scarred for life. Now, can someone please scar me as well?

This isn''t about *** (secks, since the censor will take out ***) hypnotoad, it''s about nudity (newdity, just in case). There is absolutely nothing wrong with nudity (newdity), except that too many uptight fundies have decided that they think there is.

This whole culture needs to quit seeing the body as something dirty, and maybe, just maybe, our children will quit growing up with body image problems, hating themselves, and being afraid to be nude around people of even the same friggin gender.

Example? Look to Europe, where nudity (newdity) isn''t even blinked at. There aren''t half the problems there are here in the States, so nudity (newdity) obviously isn''t the problem.

Who cares?

I remember many nights around the ages of 11 to...oh about yesterday... that I would dream about running across such things.

But really, all these kids saw were women in their underwear. Big deal, should we ban the JC Penny''s ad on Sunday that shows the same thing?

It''''s supposed to be SPECIAL. And that''''s what our society has lost.

And as more and more deem all that as normal, peer pressure will snowball.

Somehow I seriously dought Jesus would condone, much less play, such an inane, headonistic, wasteful activity as golf. What a waste of water and space.

Golf is said to be a therapeutic, relaxing sport. Good outlet for networking too. I think more people ought to play the game. It''s good for the arms... I just wish more people had the time or interest to play it.

They undoubtedly get the water (and sand) from anywhere and I doubt it''s drinkable. And I''m sure microchip companies are teed off over golf course designers stealing their sand, but that''s not relevant right now.

Oooh, but it''s ***! *** isn''t evil! Kids right down to 2 years old need to see what goes on!! W00000t!

(END Sarcasm)

I am so sick of the parroting nitwits who think there''s nothing wrong with that incident.

There is a time and place for everything. It''s called society, being civilized, self-respect, respect for others, et cetera.

But more importantly, *** has been devalued. 20% of NYC has herpes. There''s yet another rise of HIV transmission amongst gay men. Disease and heartache is all people get when they devalue ***. Because *** is special; it''s about showing love between two people. It''s not on par with a game of golf, much less any other sport or form of cheap entertainment. It''s supposed to be SPECIAL. And that''s what our society has lost.

And as more and more deem all that as normal, peer pressure will snowball.

Such loose attitudes are also parallel; inducing apathy by onlookers as some *** molests and/or beats up some innocent kid/adult. Amongst other parallels. People just don''t care anymore.

And yet people still get outraged when some vicious crime is reported on television. Put 2 and 2 together, people!

Flame me all you want, folks, but I will NOT apologize for speaking the truth!

As for the strippers, just when exactly do you deem these young people learn that women have b**bs and that male christians are perverts.
PS. Howmany "strokes" over was the winner?
