Man Accused Of Hiding In Woman's Couch
Police: Upstate N.Y. Man Cut Hole In Couch And Hid Until Woman Sat Down

Police in the city of Newburgh, 55 miles north of New York City, say the 22-year-old woman sat on the couch Wednesday evening and felt a bump in the cushions. She jumped up and David Joe Limones emerged from his hiding place.
The woman was on the phone with a friend at the time because she had filed an earlier complaint against Limones and feared he might be in her apartment. Police could hear the woman screaming in the background when the neighbor called for help.
When officers arrived, they found Limones and the woman arguing on the apartment's balcony.
Limones faces burglary and other charges. He was sent to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

- What the heck is happening to our society. I wonder if any one is living in my couch? I hope she was over weight. I hoped she smoked like a chimney. and dropped that cigeratte right between the cushions. Idiots. Schmucks. For god sakes man, what is wrong with you she already called the cops once. what makes it alright to hide in a sofa? the only question is why? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

- She should have shot him while she had the chance. The fact he was stalking her and had broken into her home would have justified it. Now she will have to spend the rest of her life wondering if he is in or out of jail.
