(AP)  Friends and relatives of two girls who were mysteriously shot and killed on a country road began arriving in the First Baptist Church Friday for funeral services.

Services for Taylor Paschal-Placker, 13, were planned at the church at 10 a.m. The funeral for Skyla Whitaker, 11, was set for 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Henryetta.

Investigators said Friday they still have no suspects and no explanation for why they were gunned down Sunday afternoon near the small town of Weleetka, a working-class community of 1,000 people, 70 miles south of Tulsa.

On Thursday, crime scene investigators returned to the spot where the girls were found and searched nearby woods. Authorities also announced they had interviewed a witness who claims to have seen the girls just minutes before they were killed.

The girls, who were best friends, were shot a number of times in the head and chest with weapons of two different calibers, leading authorities to think two gunmen were involved.

Several motives have been explored, including a random thrill killing, attempted abduction, a case of mistaken identity and the possibility that the girls happened upon a crime in progress.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Agent Ben Rosser has said it is suspected that a local person was involved because the killings occurred in such an isolated area. Rosser said that nothing is being ruled out but that there is no indication family or friends were involved.

Full autopsy results have not been released, but investigators said it appears the girls were not molested. They noted the youngsters were clothed and the bodies were found only about a half-hour after the girls began walking.

Good argument but i don''t think the 10 year old boy did it.
1. He is to young to have planned acrime this well.
2. They believe that since two guns were used it involved two suspects. A boy with a gun is one thing, but unlikely that a 10 year old would be carrying around two firearms at once.

Murder is not of God. It is Satan and his disgusting minion demons.
Catch who did this and have a televised execution. No mercy. I am a Christian but this is sooooo vile that it is beyond human comprehension.
My prayers are for the two girls and their family. I know their in Heaven with Jesus because Jesus said "Let the children come to me"

I''m with you matvei. Totally.I think the boy next door who is only 10 but proudly brags that he can "handle any gun" should be asked a bunch of questions. This is nothing personal because I don''t know these people, but police think the killer knew the area, the girls weren''t molested, and they were found within a half an hour of being alive. The killer could''ve been on foot. The father of the boy says that he owns many guns. This is a very strange and senseless crime. A child of 10 would not know the gravity of such a crime and if the girls and him were into banter like kids that age are and the boy was offended by something then it''s possible. These days children kill each other and usually over nothing. I hope my sentiments are incorrect, but in a case this bizarre they can''t leave any stone unturned. They need to at the very least investigate all of the guns that the neighbor owns. If this was a deed committed by an adult or two, they should get the firing squad.

God is despaired as we are when people choose to do evil, but He was there with those girls.

"Free-will" means He does not and will not manipulate us like puppets. People are "free" to make their own choices, and some person (or people) decided to do evil that day.

At all times, God IS in control. And when I start doubting and feeling the anguish of some much evil in the world, I remember the lyrics to Gowan''s song, "The Good Catches Up"....and it will! Whoever did this will not get away with it.

There is a God, just look around you and see his creation, the mountains, flowers, the stars in the sky, the trees, Grand Canyon, Niagra Falls, the blue waters, and the human race, all was created by God. But there is also the devil, who never gets blamed for the evil in this world. Because of sinned that entered into the world way back in the Garden of Eden, man kind has become evil, fulfilling there own lustful desires to rape and kill innocent men, women and children. But who does the world blame, God, and not the evil one satan.
