(CBS/AP)  Former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield appears to be having financial problems, WGCL-TV in Atlanta reports.

A legal notice that appeared in a local newspaper showed his Fayette County estate is under foreclosure. The home worth an estimated $10 million is set to be auctioned by a bank on July 1.

The mother of one of Holyfield's nine children said he has missed two child-support payments. Toi Irvin, who lives in Clayton County, filed a petition for contempt in Fayette County Superior Court on behalf of her 10-year-old son.

Irvin said she was told by Holyfield's representatives not to expect the payment for May and June totaling $6,000.

Holyfield, 45, has declined comment on the child-support allegations and the foreclosure.

Holyfield last fought on Oct. 13, 2007, when he lost to Sultan Ibragimov in a fight for the World Boxing Organization title. Holyfield refused to retire after the fight.

Wow, must be nice to find yourselves in position to judge and convict someone you don''t know, over circumstances you have no first hand knowledge of?! I assume your reflection in the mirror is that of a saint? Most saints I know of, are not petty or jealous. They are compassionate though.
Get a life!

Black man behind on his child support payments? I have never seen that before. Hmm... Must be a mistake.
Nine children...isn''t that special. What a macho man.
Like George Foreman.

Celebs getting overextended. Biting off more than they can chew. Don''t want to lead a modest life. Oh no. Got to be livin'' large. Wives spending money like the river of wealth will never dry up.

It seems as if those who have money do not know how to handle it. They live above their means. They trust other people to handle their finances instead of taking a business course and manage their own funds. It is amazing how average hard working people can manage to make a dollar out of 15 cent and survive. I wish I had just one million dollars to pay for my childrens college, buy a small house and make it a home by filling it with family, love and GOD. Failure to remember, doomed to repeat. Do not forget where you came from for you may find your self back at square one.

This is all too familiar of a story. The Don Kings of the world suck the gullible, uneducated boxer dry, and then throw them away. I''ll bet Holyfield hasn''t a clue as to where all the millions he earned went.

So Mr. Holyfield makes babies at the drop of a hat, and buys mansions he can''t afford. Too many blows to the head, sounds like. Responsibility ??? Heck, let''s just have fun !
