(CBS/AP)  Al Qaeda's media operation has released a new audio message on the Internet from Osama bin Laden, dealing primarily with Israel and the Palestinians on the 60th anniversary of Israel's creation.

The message, downloaded by CBS News from the prominent jihadist Web forum El Ekhlas, did not include any new images of the al Qaeda chief.

The 9:40-minute audio by bin Laden showed an old photo of his face over a brown graphic and included the title, "A Message to the Peoples of the West: From Sheik Osama bin Laden," with the subheading: “The Reasons for the Struggle on the 60th Anniversary of the Creation of the Occupation State of Israel.”

Bin Laden began his message by telling listeners that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has always been the primary cause for friction between the West and the Muslim world - a struggle which he said was getting more difficult due to European policies biased in Israel's favor.

"The Palestinian cause has been the main factor that, since my early childhood, fueled my desire, and that of the 19 freemen (Sept. 11 bombers), to stand by the oppressed, and punish the oppressive Jews and their allies," the al Qaeda chief said.

"We shall continue the fight, Allah willing, against the Israelis and their allies, in order to pursue justice for the oppressed, and we shall not give up one inch of Palestine, as long as there is still a single true Muslim alive."

Meanwhile, President Mr. Bush wrapped up his visit to Israel Friday, commemorating the anniversary of the country's creation - a visit which he used to again urge both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to negotiate a peace settlement.

His visit, however, drew frustration from Palestinians, many of whom view the American leader as a biased friend of Israel. On the other side, few Israelis had hope that Mr. Bush could evoke the good will to see an agreement reached by the end of year - his long-stated goal.

Palestinians marked the 60th anniversary of Israel's creation with demonstrations and solemn ceremonies on Thursday - a stark contrast to Israel's joyous birthday celebrations. Palestinians refer to the anniversary as the "nakba," Arabic for catastrophe.

In the audio released Friday, bin Laden said the celebrations proved "that 60 years ago, the state of Israel did not exist. It was forcefully created on Palestinian land under the fire of the weapons, and this is evidence that the Jews are invader occupiers who should be fought."

Mr. Bush's embrace of Israel at a time when the Palestinians were mourning was bound to further harm the tainted U.S. image in the Palestinian areas and across the Arab world.

Palestinian analyst Hani al-Masri said Mr. Bush cannot be a peacemaker if he sides with Israel. "It is not a peace process. It is a process without peace," he told CBS News correspondent Robert Berger.

In a speech to the Knesset, or parliament, Mr. Bush asserted Thursday that the United States has an unbreakable bond with Israel. He said Americans believe that Israel has a right to defend itself from extremists and "killers pledged to its destruction."

Bin Laden reserved much of his new audio address for an attack on the Western media, which he accused of misleading the public to show "the Israeli invaders as the victims."

"On the other hand, they portrayed the Palestinians, who are claiming back their lands, as merciless terrorists," he said. "The media has contributed to the shaping of a misled public opinion that made it possible to involve Western nations in an unjust war against us, as has been the case in Iraq."

Al Qaeda has dramatically increased the pace of its messages since last year.

CBS News consultant Hoda Osman reported that this was bin Laden’s 26th statement since the Sept. 11th attacks, including four videos and 22 audio messages. Bin Laden’s last statement was an audio tape released on March 20th.

"He said the fight for the Palestinian cause is the most important factor driving al Qaeda''s war with the West and fueled the September 11 attacks. " OBL

well, bush always has said we have to believe what our enemies are saying; like iran wanting to "wipe israel off the map" or saddam''s "threats" to our security.

what about this? maybe israel can give us a present on their birthday and return the occupied lands to their rightful owners?

but this is too simple for the "war on terror" neoconmania supporters - they''re into "global war"

i''d say we could make alot of headway to stop the growth of terror, if we remove the reason for its existence.

Lawyers File War Crimes Charges Against Rumsfeld And Others
In German Court

Revolution

On November 14, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), the International Federation for Human Rights, Germany''s Republican Attorneys'' Association, and other groups and individuals filed a formal complaint with the German Federal Prosecutor to open an investigation and, ultimately, a criminal prosecution of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other major U.S. officials. The complaint argues that Rumsfeld and other high-ranking civilian and military officials named as defendants in the case have committed war crimes, and in particular torture, against prisoners in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay. Following is an interview Revolution did with Michael Ratner, president of the CCR, who was among those in Germany on November 14 to file the complaint.

=See, told you Bin Laden....you have no problem gaining the support of secularist libs here in America. They believe in the Islamic propaganda that Israel is the "occupier" as well. They are so dumb that they don''t realize that there is no such thing as a "Palestinian people". But they believe in your lies and the rest of the Arab lies. Don''t worry, you have them fooled, they believe in your filthy Islamic propaganda. They also fail to recognize the fact that you Arabs OCCUPY 99.9 % of the entire Middle East, with tiny Israel only settling in a 260 mile stretch of land. They also fail to recognize that Islam has no historical significance in Israel, that your "prophet" Muhammed never stepped foot in Jerusalem, that the "Dome of the Rock" is merely a propaganda tool as all the other Muslim Arab lies about that land are.

They believe you Bin Laden, and you have them hook line and sinker. No worries.

You all are wrong about OBL being dead. John McBush has said he is going to capture or kill Osama during his first term. He is also going to win the war in Iraq during his first term and the economy is going to be great because he is going to follow W''s policies. He probably has a plan to do away with all us "evil" Catholic''s with his loving preacher. Boy I just can''t wait for him to be elected.

Instead we sent our troops out into a desert to look for Weapons that NEVER existed. What''s it been now??? SEVEN Years and he''s in a safe haven created by Bush, completely rebuilt. Hard to imagine how the "left" could have helped him more than that!!

Its funny that Bin Laden is still talking, it was reported in several foreign news publications that Bin Laden died in 2006. Of course the American and British medias have done everything in their power to deny it. After all if he was dead, they couldn''t use him anymore as their scapegoat. Pictures that have been released over the past several years of a supposed Bin Laden look nothing like the real Bin Laden.

Of course, anyone that believes any of the government line on the 9/11 attacks will believe anything, anyway.

Media libs love to lessen Israels national status to a "state". Love to constantly smear them as occupiers. The spoils of war clause should have been something the Arab armies considered more seriously before starting something they couldn''t finish......Besides, didn''t we win the Spanish- American war and gain new territories from that victory? How much squallin'' did we get over that huge expanse of land compared to what tiny Israel retained of their own? Why hasn''t the UN made the Palestinians home in Jordan or condemn them for the uprising massacre back in the 70''s?.....Osama Bin Laden is a LIAR and loves to tell only one side of the story.

If you have a problem with somebody and you don''t talk to sort things out, there are only two outcomes. 1-You exterminate the other,
2-They "oblitarate" you...

Have we humains being(so called supperior beings) with highly evolved brain not able to use our brain to find an aggreement?

You cannot say others are wrong when you have just attacked a country for a cause that is not(yeah, I am talking about weapons of mass destruction) when you can''t even appologise for the massacre of hundreds of thousands of Irakians...

In Bush''s world, only american deaths is a loss. 5000 americain died compared to over 100,000 irakian! all for what? my opinion is, if it up to Bush, exterminate every single Irakian and perhaps the rest of the muslims will be the only answer. What an animal? Talk about Hitler? Bush is just another bad name. Appart from not being able to speak the only language he can properly, he thinks he is better than Hitler! makes me feel sick!

And next the run exploiting the oil in Irak... shamelessly portraying themselves as heroes! You evil beings!

Bush and family need to pay for this; maybe be hung like Sadam Hussein.

Who is the terrorist here?

Until Iran ok''s peace with Israel there will be no peace in the Middle East.

It''s true that the U.S. is a bad negotiator at the Israeli-Pali peace table, given its recurring funding and weapons sales to the Israeli state and obvious biases in this allegedly neutral process. America creates a lot of its own problems through foreign policy (both overt and covert) that builds up one nation in a hot bed of turmoil while simultaneously undercutting another, and sometimes reversing the funding when policy changes (i.e., wasn''t too long ago that America was providing weapons to bin Laden and the Afghans to fight the USSR). If America really wants middle eastern peace and a reduction in terror aimed at its citizens (which is questionable given the profitability of the military industry), it will become a truly neutral party in middle eastern politics, providing no funding or weapons to any side EVER, which by design would force the immature and childish parties to sit down at a peace table and iron out their differences on even terms, or face their own potential destruction. It should be obvious by now that giving the school-yard bully a pair of brass knuckles and telling him to play nice with the free lunch kids isn''t the best path to peace. Obvious to everyone except greedy politicians with campaign-finance interests.

Sometimes instead of being a coward and stepping down to evil-a real hero stands up and fights for what is right. Sometimes you can''t think of the ''money'' or the ''lives'' if it benefits the greater good. There is no such thing as "perfect world" and no President will create that even if they promise you that- that is a falsehood. War has been evident for centuries- always will be- acceptance of this will make one see what needs to done- not what you can hide from. If you hide you die. If you fight -you might die- for the lives of others- that is a hero. Which do you prefer?

Stop jumping every time OBL says "jump".

9/11 Had nothing to to with the Palestinian cause as evident that OBL and Al''Qaeda said nothing about it after 9/11.

The Al''Qaeda manuals they found in the caves of Afghanistan only mentioned destroying the U.S. because we stand in their way of creating islamic states and spreading Islam.

Those same manuals mentions destroying their places of "Fun and sin", with pictures of Disney Land.

Based on the purportedly Osama Bin Laden rationale,
I think I''ll warn the King of Gobbledygook (from a secret hideout of course), that if he doesn''t abdicate and evacuate his current kingdom, I''ll rouse up all the Shtoonklzappists to declare a holy war against his kingdom and all the inhabitants therein, and attack and murder them until we murder every last one in the kingdom.

You know why we are justified in our cause?
Because some of our Shtoonklezappists used to live there, and we claim it to be our Sacred, Holy Shtoonklezappist land. Godshtoonklezappo told us it''s our sacred, kill-and-murder-for duty to do it. That''s why.

Sooooooooo?
Can every single cause be justification for no compromise and no agreements with others who are not of one''s own beliefs? Apparently if some god or other "tells" them so, then, YES!
