The 21-year-old North Texas man was arrested last week for trying to cash a $360 billion check, saying he wanted to start a record business, authorities said. Tellers at the Fort Worth bank were immediately suspicious - perhaps the 10 zeros on a personal check tipped them off, according to investigators.
Fuller, of suburban Crowley, was arrested on a forgery charge, police said. He was released after posting $3,750 bail.
Fuller said his girlfriend's mother gave him the check to start a record business, but bank employees who contacted the account's owner said the woman told them she did not give him permission to take or cash the check, according to police.
In addition to forgery, Fuller was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possessing marijuana, Fort Worth police Lt. Paul Henderson said.
Officers reported finding less than 2 ounces of marijuana and a .25-caliber handgun and magazine in his pockets, police said.
Fuller couldn't be located for comment by The Associated Press on Friday because there were no phone listings for him in the Fort Worth area.

- Obviously the man is retarded. No normal thinking person would EVER try to cash a personal check of even 10,000 without knowing there would be tremendous scrutiny, confirmations, holds, etc. For all people stupid enough to try to cash huge checks--catch this clue--anything over 10K must be tracked by the government even if you are only depositing the money. Checks larger than 20K are usually put into guaranteed instruments like Cashier checks or electronically transferred. Even those are checked, verified and held to confirm the transfer is legit.
Finally, all aspiring forgery idiots--you can''t cash any check for more than a person has in their account. This means if someone has 350.00 in the bank you can''t add more zeros and think you will get the money.
At least the poor idiot will have a new home, food and clothes where he is going. It must be painful to be that stupid. - Reply to this comment
- The article didn''t specifically say how much weed he was carrying around, only saying that he had "less than 2 ounces". Does that mean 2 joints, or does that mean 1.75 ounces? If it the former, hell, I do that relatively often. If it is the ladder, *** was he thinking? Oh, he was trying to cash a check for 360 Really Big Ones, so I doubt that he was thinking at all.

Borrowing money from us that we do not have so we can pay taxes on it again next year is a hell of a lot worse than what this kid did.
Paying taxes to the IRS - a private corporation based in Peurto Rico. Now that is a trillion dollar a year organized crime syndicate. Someone call the cops. - Reply to this comment

- If the guy had just waited a couple months, this wouldn''t have raised an eyebrow, because a loaf of bread will cost $360 billion.
