Aftermath of the collapse of the twin towers and victims of the toxic cloud it spawned.

(CBS)  New York City's 9/11 "Wall Of Heroes" will now include names of police officers who died well after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The city will honor eight officers who succumbed to illnesses related to working amid the toxic debris at ground zero, the New York Post reports.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Mayor Michael Bloomberg will preside over a May 9 ceremony paying tribute to eight fallen officers who died from a litany of diseases linked to their work at the site of the World Trade Center, the Post reports.

One of those officers will be Det. James Zadroga, who died of a respiratory disease in 2006 after spending more than 400 hours sifting through the smoldering ruins at ground zero.

"It’s a bittersweet victory," Joseph Zadroga, James's father, told CBS News.com.

"It's joyful but I'd rather have him here," he said. "I know it's something that Jimmy would want."

Read the story of NYPD Detective James Zadroga.
James Zadroga was the first NYPD officer to have his death directly linked to his work at ground zero. Subsequently, he emerged as a symbol for the plight of thousands whose health rapidly deteriorated after their long days toiling in the rubble at ground zero.

Last May, a woman who died of lung disease five months after Sept. 11, 2001 was added to the medical examiner's list of attack victims. It marked the first time the city officially linked a death to the toxic dust caused by the World Trade Center's collapse. However, the city has long resisted adding names of sick 9/11 responders who died to the official victim's list - despite mounting medical evidence that suggests a strong link.

Read about the 9/11 health crisis stemming from the toxic air at ground zero.

Of the 70,000 people taking part in Mount Sinai Medical Center's World Trade Center health study, 85 percent are suffering some kind of respiratory problem. Medical experts now say the toxic cloud sparked at ground zero has not only caused severe breathing problems in the short term but also will likely spawn diseases like cancer in the years to come. The mounting medical evidence has put pressure on lawmakers to fund monitoring and treatment for sick responders.

In addition to Zadroga, the Post reports that those receiving plaques on the wall include police officers James Godbe, Thomas Brophy, Ronald Weintraub and Angelo Peluso and Detectives John Young, Kevin Hawkins, and Robert Williamson.

Very poor wording on this reporting. SICK COPS WILL BE ON 9/11 WALL. It makes thm sound like they were mental cases or something. I thik the wording could have been more respectful of these fine officers. I am glad they are getting their names added to the wall but is still small comfort to their families.

Well, it is about time. To deny the work these guys did at ground zero contributed to their death was nonsense. I am glad that they will be honored for the heroes that they were, and their families will have at least that.

Another excerpt from the same court document:

...it is to be noted that SAIC has been notified that plaintiff is aware of SAIC%u2019s involvement in the following activities, among other activities, that have a bearing upon this case:

A%u2013SAIC has been present and involved in GZ cleanup from 9/11/01 to the present.

B%u2013SAIC is a manufacturer, tester, and developer of Directed Energy Weaponry (DEW).

C%u2013SAIC is involved in research, development and implementation of psychological warfare tactics and a wide variety of psychological operations (collectively, psy ops) and has been so engaged in such operations at all times relevant to this matter.

D%u2013SAIC currently exercises control of ingress to and egress from GZ in its capacity of having control of the %u2019security%u2019 of the site.

E%u2013SAIC is aware that GZ, which includes the Bankers Trust building site, has not been remediated and that what Dr. Wood refers to as %u2018fuming%u2019 is among the indicators of the need for ongoing remediation.

F%u2013Administrative control of and responsibility for NIST%u2019s NCSTAR1 project was given over to SAIC.

For those not in the know, the lawsuits are against the contractors hired by the government for the NIST Report. One of the defendants, Science Applications International Corp, (SAIC) is a manufacturer of Directed Energy Weapons and has expertise in PSYOPS.

From a court document filed by Jerry Leaphart:

drjudywood.com/pdf/080321_AffirmJVL90.pdf

Excerpt:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The connection between the central claim of the plaintiff herein and the defendant, Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) is clear and apparent. SAIC assigned John Eichner to lead SAIC%u2019s team assigned to the NIST, NCSTAR 1 project. The public record confirms that John Eichner has expertise in the development and testing of instrumentalities and apparatus that are used in directed energy weapons (DEW), as confirmed by a number of publicly available technical journals.

Why is the air at Ground Zero still dangerous?

Answer: because of the continued "fuming", due to molecular dissociation from the directed energy weapons.

Go to Dr Judy Wood''s site and see the paper:
Molecular Dissociation: from Dust to Dirt

It''s time people started supporting the court cases with Attorney Jerry Leaphart, former Clemson Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr Judy Wood, and former Chief Economist from the US Dept of Labor Dr Morgan Reynolds.

The cases are in the US District Court, Southern District of New York, presided under the Honorable George B Daniels.

Dr Wood''s case shows that the World Trade Center was destroyed with Directed Energy Weapons:
Docket No. 1:07-cv-03314-GBD

Dr Reynolds'' case shows that planes did NOT crash at the World Trade Center:
Docket No. 1:07-cv-04612-GBD

Although wacky sounding, fact is it''s backed by the evidence as well as Laws of Physics.

Go to checktheevidence.com and read my article titled:
Debunking the 9/11 *Anti-No-Plane-Theory* Myths

9/11 was a psychological operation (PSYOPS).

Conspiracy claims, insulting your own President, appeals to move on.

Some people on here ought to be ashamed. On 9/11 America was attacked by Islamic terrorists, that attack and the victims of that attack should be remembered forever.

I''''m British, but I''''ll always remember that day and those poor families who were left bereft. Don''''t make excuses for terrorists, be proud of America.

That the NeoCons also demolished Building 7 was proof positive that Bu$h/Cheney are hiding their involvement in planning and executing 9/11.

Former EPA chief Christine Todd Whitman should be pilloried, tarred, feathered, shackled and sent off to jail. Actually she deserves much more, but I cannot say in public. How is it that the responsible parties in this administration pay NOTHING for their crimes? Ask yourself how many people this administration has killed? Let''s see- Thousands of Afghani''s, over a million Iraqi''s, much more than the reported 4,000 American troops (since only those that actually die WHILE they are ON the battlefield are counted), fellow citizens denied help after Katrina, fellow citizens that died when there was a shortage of flu vaccine across the nation, fellow citizens who died from toxic drugs VIOXX, etc, firefighters that died in the 2 towers and in the 9/11 cleanup. (Giuliani was warned, but not the firefighters that the buildings were coming down). When will we the citizens of this country collectively express our outrage against the willful and criminal neglect that this administration has heaped upon us? When will we all join together to demand trials and prosecutions of Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the criminals that infest our White House? Demand prosecutions from your Senators and Congressman. Reach them through the Capitol Hill phone (202)224-3121

I wonder what former Weatherman William Ayers (Barack''s friend and confidant), who regrets not causing more damage when he set off bombs at US targets, thinks about the horrors of 9/11?
