(AP)  Cindy McCain is joining the ladies on "The View" - at least for a day.

Republican candidate John McCain's wife will be a co-host on the ABC daytime chat show Monday, April 21. She'll give conservative host Elisabeth Hasselbeck a rare ally in the show's political conversations.

McCain's husband has been on "The View" four times, most recently last week.

There's no word on whether she'll be bringing any recipes to share. Her husband's campaign had a mild embarrassment this week when an intern posted recipes on its Web site lifted from the Food Network and Rachel Ray and falsely passed them off as Cindy McCain's.

I wonder if anyone will ask her about how she feels about her own husband calling her a "****" why decrying how much makeup she wears--all said in public.

Maybe Rosie would ask it if she were there...and then, ask any feminists voting for McCain, where does "****" fit into their political lexicon? LOL

Cherriefries: It''s not having an opinion that makes them Barbies. It''s having a baseless one.

I can put up with Elizabeth for about 5 minutes of debate, then she goes from the sublime to the ridiculous!! I don''t know why she has to get so angry all the time just because her ideas are not agreed with. Well, maybe for that one day, she will get some satisfaction with someone actually speaking her language - - - -

Blonde bimbo barbie dolls? Isn''t that a bit harsh there gce65? Just because they aren''t left wing they''re just blonde barbie dolls? When does having an opinion make someone a barbie doll?

You have GOT to be kidding. Although I love Whoopie and Joy I don''t watch the show very often because of that right wing know it all Elizabeth. I used to watch when Rosey was on because I like her willingness to mix it up and stand up for what she believed. But they let her go. I guess I''ll just go back to the Price is Right. Drew doesn''t offend anyone. Maybe Cindy can tell us what it''s like to be wealthy...and how to bake cookies.

Yeah, right, blame it on the intern. What BS! Mrs. McCain is a plagarist, plain and simple. Thanks for the heads up though. I''ll make sure to NOT watch The View on Monday.
