Photo Essay First Daughters Daddy's little girls have made their marks in the White House.
It's been an open secret - but this is the first time it's been said on the record.
The comments came in response to a question about whether the Bushes were at the ranch this weekend making final preparations for their daughter's May 10 wedding to Henry Hager.
Spokesman Scott Stanzel said "that's certainly something that is on their mind."Photos: Celebrity Couples
He also disclosed that the president's parents - former president and first lady George and Barbara Bush - were at the ranch this weekend - along with the president's brother Jeb and his wife Columba.Photos: Presidential Daughters

During the day, the president was busy clearing brush on the ranch as usual.
"Maybe the brush clearing has something to do with those (wedding) plans - but certainly that's something that's top of mind for the family," Stanzel said.
Stanzel could not say if daughter Jenna, 26, was at the ranch this weekend.
She certainly did not fly there on Air Force One. Neither did the family pooches Barney or Ms. Beazley, who usually accompany the Bushes to the ranch.
The couple became engaged on Aug. 15, 2007. They have been dating for several years, and are often seen together at Bush family functions and formal events.
Hager, 29, is the son of John H. Hager, chairman of Virginia's GOP. He is expecting to receive his MBA from the University of Virginia this spring. The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday that Hager purchased a 128-year-old rowhouse in Baltimore recently.

- Congrats to the couple, but it''s bizarre in that they are being married in a home and not a church. The only other times I''ve seen people married in their own homes is on sitcoms. This is really a silly observation...
My post was not meant to be insulting against anyone and there are legitimate security reasons for having it there; this is the President''s daughter! - Reply to this comment
- They''re not outsourcing the wedding?

- cattlekate and rushlimpdrug,
I assure you I am not a child. And you proved my point by spelling out the four letter words. Childish, pathetic and ignorant. And just as I thought you cannot put a decent sentence together without using profanity. - Reply to this comment
- Is the hubby-to-be going to learn how to trim Bush from George?
All I can say is, she''d better not dare to wear white. As Austin Powers would say, "She like the village bicycle; everyone''s had a ride!" - Reply to this comment
- This announcement is all meant to draw attention away from the image in "Slippery D1ck" Cheney''s sunglasses while he was supposedly fly fishing. IT''S JENNA!!!!
White House spokeschick Dana Perino said he had his rod in his hand. I''ll bet. And his other hand crammed full of Viagra. With his bum ticker I''ll bet he couldn''t even get it up! - Reply to this comment
- Isn''t it wonderful to get happy news for a change! So much of what we hear is doom and gloom. Jenna and Henry are a nice couple, and I''m pleased to know that they are finally tying the knot!
Uh, to all you people who don''t give a sh**, I''m wondering why did you click on the article and then take the time to read it? - Reply to this comment
- PHEW !!! What a Relief !!! When *** Cheney said a couple of weeks ago that our President obviously carried the biggest burden in regards to the war in Iraq, I thought Jenna must''ve enlisted and gotten killed over there along with the other 4000+ American dead. But since she''s about to be married, Cheney must''ve meant something else. I''m so relieved to know that Jenna and all the other Bushes will be safely at home eating caviar and drinking Champagne in May while 160,000 of America''s finest sweat it out with their lives on the line in Iraq. But it must be tough to decide what the bridesmaids will wear and which place settings to choose. I feel for them !

Note that the poster "claims" she/he is a "spouse".
He/she behaves like the little spouse.
Her king is bush and the royal family
cannot be criticized.
The spouse is obviously confusing democracy
with some other form of government where
the leaders are to be held up as gods.
Very odd indeed.
Gotta go.- Reply to this comment
