Benedict has asked the faithful to pray for the success of his trip to Washington and New York. He will meet with President Bush, visit a Manhattan synagogue and address the United Nations next week.
In a videotaped message to U.S. Catholics, Benedict says he will bring a message of hope to the U.N. -- in his words, “hope for peace, for justice, and for freedom.”
During his visit, Benedict also will address the presidents of Roman Catholic colleges and universities and celebrate Masses at Nationals Park and Yankee Stadium.

- Some of us who are amused by the church want the pope to be caught with a little boy.

- What I have previously stated was the fact that CBS allows people to make negative comments about any Christian minister or leader, but would not let anyone say their opinions on the article about the two-faced child who is being worshiped as a goddess!!! What is wrong with this picture, CBS? Y''all need new people working on your website!!!

- FeelFree1: I agree with you again, but as you can see, someone took off my earlier posting. This is America, right? Freedom of speech?

- It has been learned that the Pope will visit the USSA and deliver a message at the UN. The Pope will also meet with the Great Emperor Bush II, mostly to discuss if Gid talks to the Great Emperor the same way that He talks to the Pope!
The meeting will be held in the Rose Garden, weather permitting. The Pope will be dressed all in white, in the event the Great Bird of Paradise makes a repeat visit to the Rose Garden. The Great Emperor will wear a 10 gallon hat, checkered shirt, blue jeans, spurs, and have a copy of the latest issue of "Buckaroo Banzai" beneath his arm!
SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!

I agree with "rushman71".
Both articles should have equal opportunity for ridicule and beratement, even though the Satanic Pope poses a far greater threat to common decency and common sense.- Reply to this comment

- I find it sad that you have no understanding of the Catholic faith. We immediatly excommunicated those priests, & its not just Catholic priest who do that, but about 1000 cases of other religions were tried this year. Has no one ever heard of a rogue priest?
