Sweet-Voiced Singer Sweeps At Canadian Music Honors

(CBS)  Feist can count one more lucky number beyond "1,2,3,4."

Her delightful counting song made famous in a cleverly choreographed music video and an iPod ad helped the 32-year-old singer-songwriter sweep all five categories in which she was nominated at the Juno Awards this weekend in Calgary, Alberta.

"1234" was named single of the year, and her album "The Reminder" was named album and pop album of the year at Canada's most prestigious music awards ceremony held at Calgary's Saddledome and broadcast in the country on CTV Sunday night. Her wins for artist and songwriter of the year were announced the night before at the Juno Gala Dinner & Awards ceremony.

On the red carpet, the Calgary native said she had brought plenty of local support with her to the show.

"I just arrived and it's a strange day here, very beautiful lucky day, and I'm just glad to be here, and I have a mass of my family around me," she told the Associated Press.

Canadian rockers Blue Rodeo took home a total of three Juno awards, including their fifth one for group of the year, adult alternative album of the year for "Small Miracles" and video of the year for "C'mon."

Other winners familiar to international audiences were crooner Michael Buble, who won the Juno fan choice award, and sultry R&B star Rihanna, who won international album of the year for "Good Girl Gone Bad."

In addition to Feist, the evening included performances by a range of artists including Buble, Avril Lavigne, and Anne Murray in duet performances with Calgary native Jann Arden and Britain's Sarah Brightman.

Also on the show, the 1970s arena rock trio Triumph was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
