(CBS/AP)  Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and former President Clinton report nearly $109.2 million in income since the end of Mr. Clinton's term in 2000, according to eight years of newly-released tax information. The couple reported $20.4 million in income for 2007.

The Democratic presidential candidate and her husband paid $33.8 million in taxes from 2000 through 2007. Almost half the former first couple's money came from Mr. Clinton's speeches. They listed $10.25 million in charitable contributions during the period.

The couple released their tax returns for the years 2000 through 2006 and provided information regarding their 2007 taxes. The Clintons have asked for an extension for filing their 2007 tax returns, citing the dissolution of a blind trust last year.

Mrs. Clinton has been under pressure to release her tax returns, especially from rival Barack Obama, who posted his 2000 to 2006 returns on his campaign Web site last week. Neither Obama nor Republican Sen. John McCain have made their 2007 tax returns public, though both say they will this month.

"The Clintons have now made public 30 years of tax returns, a record matched by few people in public service," said Clinton Campaign Spokesman Jay Carson. "None of Hillary Clinton's presidential opponents have revealed anything close to this amount of personal financial information."

CBS News Correspondent Jim Axelrod reports that Mrs. Clinton's hopes for the Democratic nomination now rest heavily on winning over blue-collar workers, many of whom are worried about their own incomes.

The Clintons last made their returns public in 2000, when they reported an adjusted gross income of $416,039.

According to a summary of the seven years provided by the campaign, the former president's speech income since he left the White House totals $51.85 million and his income from his two books - "My Life " and "Giving" - totals $29.6 million. Mr. Clinton has traveled the world, giving paid speeches to multinational corporations, investment banks and motivational groups.

Mrs. Clinton had $10.5 million in book income over the period from her book "Living History." She donated earnings from her other book, "It Takes a Village," to charity.

Mrs. Clinton's tax returns show that of the remaining presidential candidates, she is the one most able to access large amounts of personal money. She lent her campaign $5 million in late February and could contribute more if she finds herself falling far behind Obama's proficient fundraising.

McCain's wife is heiress to her father's stake in Hensley & Co. of Phoenix, one of the largest beer distributorships in the country and her worth could exceed $100 million. But the couple has a prenuptial agreement that has kept most assets in her name. In his financial disclosures, McCain lists his major sources of income as his Senate salary of $169,300 and a Navy pension of about $56,000.

In 2006, Obama reported income of nearly $1 million, with nearly half of it coming from the publication of his second book, "The Audacity of Hope." Last week, the campaign disclosed that Obama and his wife, Michelle, gave $240,000 to charity last year.

OBAMA HAS LINKS TO HAMAS AND ISM

If Barack Obama didn%u2019t know about Abunimah%u2019s writings (and Abunimah says he did), the same as his claims of being unaware of Reverend Wright%u2019s remarks after 20 years, then Obama is not competent to be our President. Abunimah likes to lie and claim Al Awda has nothing to do with the ISM or Electronic Intifada, though plenty of evidence exists on the website the homepage at www.StoptheISM.com showing the contrary.

But Obama%u2019s association with the ISM through his church and lobbying in Chicago goes even deeper than just his past links to Al Awda and Ali Abunimah. His pastor, Jeremiah Wright, and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, are both equally involved with the ISM.

This is from 4/7/08 Wall Street Journal:

"Meanwhile, the Clintons also made liberal use of the charitable deduction, claiming $10.2 million in charitable giving over the eight years. Intriguingly, nearly all the donations went to the Clinton Family Foundation, which has disbursed only half the money. The Clintons can thus use the foundation for, er, strategic giving, such as the $100,000 it donated last year to a local South Carolina library %u2013 the day after Mrs. Clinton debated in that key primary state. There are other examples of such politically targeted philanthropy, and it''s worth noting that most of the foundation''s disbursements came only after Mrs. Clinton announced her Presidential run."

Trapbreak: There have been 5 Democrats since WWII, Truman was sitting when the war was declared over,& WAS re-elected, Kennedy won in 1960, his VP Johnson took over and WAS also re-elected, Carter, Then Clinton who WAS ALSO re-elected. I do agree that the ones you named were awful choices and deserved to be defeated (Stevenson, Humphry, McGovern, Mondale, Dukakis & Kerry. By the way, Kerry did not get slaughtered like the others, he came within 1 state (Ohio) of getting 270 electoral votes. Just wanted to get facts straight.

Clinton''''''''s campaign manager, Maggie Williams, earned at least $175,000 serving from 2000-07 on the board of Long Island-based Delta Financial, which filed for bankruptcy last year after a history of high-cost loans to low-income borrowers, according to public records.

Obama''''''''s national finance chairwoman, Penny Pritzker, was chairwoman of the board of a Chicago-area bank in 1993 when it adopted a subprime business strategy that regulators say ultimately led it to collapse in 2001.

From that right wing paper USA Today. Oh those evil neo cons.

The Clintons are criminals and the most corrupt politicians in the history of our country. I can''''t understand why people blindly follow them, but a change in government may see them finally prosecuted for their crimes. That may explain why Hillary is so desperate to be elected. Their staying out of prison may depend on it.

............

Isn''t this criminal stuff a bit tired? The rupubs tried to convict the Clintons of every thing under the sun and only suceeded in wasting millions. Bill Clinton led this country to it''s most prosperious time in history. The Shrub has made us a debtor, belacose nation dispised around the world. Are they bind followers or are some just blind?

As a young lad, I will never forget President Eisenhower''s Farwell speech and the only point I can remember from that speech was: %u201CThe biggest danger to the U.S. is the military industrial complex.%u201D I was somewhat confused at the time because in the midst of the cold war, I understood the Russians were our biggest threat. His words have always come back to me and sure enough, it is the military industrial complex that is destroying our nation.

Obama on the other hand seems to be that new ray of hope that can get us out of this mess. I had lost all interest and hope in politics and stopped voting, but he is saying all the right things. I am as excited now as I was about John Kennedy. I never thought I would be in support of a minority person for fear they would only take care of their own, but Obama seems to transcend all the traditional boundaries and is stronger for it. If this man only delivers a fraction of what we hope and expect of him, we will all be miles ahead of where we are now. Today we are in debt, in recession, at war, and universally despised around the world. Obama at least presents the promise of improving our situation. Obama 08

truth-hurts: I don''t really understand your challenge, but I do agree that business control of the government has been detrimental to the United States for the last twenty years. I''ll try and explain in more detail:
