It may not be a glamorous or racy "it factor," but her "it factor" falls into a category unto itself.
With a tell-it-like-it-is approach, Goldberg's personality keeps viewers tuned in and looking forward to what she'll say next.
The "outspoken comedienne-actress" spoke to JET Magazine to reveal her secret to staying focused on what matters when addressing hot topics from politics to relationships.
Goldberg admitted to JET that unlike her co-hosts, she doesn't spend a lot of time in hair and wardrobe getting primped up before each show.Photos: Whoopi Goldberg
The candid co-host also said that she's not worried about gaining a few extra pounds.
"It takes six minutes for makeup," Goldberg told JET with a laugh. "It really does. The best thing about me is I don't have to look like anything. I don't have to do the makeup, the eyelashes, and the hair."
All Goldberg needs is a good head on her shoulders and a forum to speak her mind.
"I am not the glam queen," Goldberg said. "So if I have a little weight on my backside, it's OK, because it's just Whoopi."
