(CBS)  Sometimes all you need to overcome the toughest obstacles is a little -- Faith.

Faith is a five-year-old mixed-breed dog who was given little chance of survival at birth.

But she's enriching the family that saved her and took her in: Faith has no front legs, but she walks on her hind legs

Her owner, Jude Stringfellow, told Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez how Faith became a part of her family's world, how Faith learned to walk, and how Faith now inspires humans -- including wounded soldiers.

They should make those jackets for her with fake human arms like the ones made for pet birds. A business jacket with human arms carrying a briefcase or a Superman top with cape and arms in a double bicep flex pose would be hilarious... for a Halloween costume anyway.

i''ve seen this precious dog on another show before - God bless this amazing pup. the world would be a sad and lonely place (at least for me) without dogs.

actually they make fake legs for dogs. It would be a holster strapped to the front end with wheel legs. I know atleast one company that does this for dogs with missing leg/s. since this dog can walk with just two though maybe they don''t need that :)

Don''''t they also have ''''doggie wheelchairs''''? I''''m worried this might be putting excessive stress on Faith''''s joints (?)

I heart Faith :)

Very good point.

Horses that lose/break a leg are generally put to death because they cannot balance their body weight sufficiently on the remaining legs and therefore wind up losing them also.

Dogs can, and have, survived with only three legs, but I don%u2019t recall reading/hearing about one living/surviving on only two legs.

This is an interesting situation.

If only we humans could be as loving and as loyal as dogs. I''ve had six wondeful Boston Terriers in my lifetime, two currently waiting for me at home. When I pass on I hope I go wherever it is they go!

This little doggie is amazing. She is also a Sergeant in the Military. I''d up that rank.
