(CBS)  Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman outside John Cusack's home on Sunday on suspicion of stalking charges.

A spokesman for the Sheriff's Department on Monday identified the suspect as 33-year-old Emily Leatherman.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Leatherman had a previous restraining order filed against her by the actor best known for his roles in "Say Anything," "Runaway Jury," and "Serendipity."

Police responded to a report from a cab driver that his passenger was refusing to pay for a ride to Malibu Road - in Cusack's neighborhood - around 7 p.m. Sunday night.

Cusack stopped the officers and reported that he recognized the woman as the one who had been stalking him.

Los Angeles Sherrif's spokesman Steve Whitmore said, "Apparently, Mr. Cusack flagged down one of our deputies and told him that this woman had been stalking him."

According to Whitmore, Leatherman was arrested on suspicion of felony stalking, violation of a restraining order and petty theft and is being held on $150,000 bail. He added that officers at the scene found evidence for the arrest but he would not provide further details.
