Facebook Investor Li Ka-Shing Upping Stake To $100 Million?
This story was written by Joseph Weisenthal.
Hong Kong mogul and Facebook investor Li Ka-Shing has reportedly increased his investment in the social networking site from $60 million to $100. The claim was made on the conference call of his company Hutchison Whampoa, reports MarketWatch, though it's conceivable that something got lost in translation. Later on the report quotes him saying: "I may raise my investment in Facebook - anything is possible." Ka-Shing's initial investment of $60 million was first reported last November. He also said on the call that there could be synergies between the two companies, with Hutch users having access to the service.
