Glam Media Buys Fashion Site Stylemob
This story was written by Rafat Ali.
Glam Media, the woman/lifestyle/fashion network, has done a small acquisition: it has bought out Stylemob, we have heard through sources, and now confirmed from the company (Valleywag wrote the rumor first this morning). The acquisition was done earlier this year, and in fact Stylemob co-founder Adam Souzis was announced as executive director of Glam Labs, the technology research arm of Glam, in a Feb 4 announcement by Glam. Stylemob is less than a year old.
The company recently raised $84.6 million in funding, and said that some of that money would be used for acquisitions.
