State Television Says At Least 20 Killed Near Afghan Border

(AP)  At least 20 people were killed in a missile strike near the Afghan border on Sunday, state-run Pakistan Television said.

The strike destroyed the house of a suspected militant leader, according to a local tribesman.

Seven missiles were fired in the strike in the tribal area of South Waziristan, the television report said.

The report did not indicate where the missiles came from, but U.S.-led coalition forces based in neighboring Afghanistan have launched attacks inside the Pakistani border in the past.

Pakistan has been battling Islamic militants linked to al Qaeda and the Taliban in its regions bordering Afghanistan. The U.S. considers the country's effort vital to the war on terrorism.

The missiles were fired by an unmanned drone, local tribesman, Rahim Khan, told The Associated Press.

At least two hit and destroyed the home of a local militant leader and Taliban sympathizer who goes by the single name Noorullah, Khan said.

During Clinton''s administration the US had no more inclination to go to war against Iraq than President Bush Sr. At that time the US would not support a war for a regime change of country that means nothing to the US.

It was a UN sanctioned NATO controlled invasion of Afghanistan in response to 9/11/01.

And Baby George Bush went against the advice of his father, mid-East allies, the CIA and everybody else in the world with a lick of sense and invaded Iraq. His administration was so naive it imagined the US would be welcomed like heros of WWII freeing europe from Hitler''s grip. GW''s direct connect to God told him that''s what would happen and he would become the famous "War President".

Clinton had a chance to kill Osama Bin Laden before 9 11 , but he death by missle probably would have killed some "innocent" children (who by now are no doubt terrorists willing to kill you !). Clinton lost his nerve, and thus we lost NYC on 911 and those valiant people fighting this larger war on Arab Islamic Terrorist vs. Western Civilization.

Clinton''s lack of resolve and fuzzy thinking is to blame for the current state of affairs. Thank God for the resolve and perspective of the more moral Bush, who knows that this is a war, and in war some "innocent" people must be killed to protect our truly innocent people.
