Minnie Driver Confirms Pregnancy
Minnie Driver says she's got the bump.
The 38-year-old actress and singer confirmed she's pregnant with her first child during an appearance Thursday night on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
Leno joked that she appeared to have gained weight.
"Are you calling me fat? You've noticed my tummy, haven't you?" Driver said.
"Are you pregnant?" Leno replied.
"Yes, I am," she said.
Driver said she loves being pregnant but also is frequently sick.
"I don't know why they call it morning sickness," she said. "I am sick morning, noon and night, but it's a fair trade-off."
Driver, who is unmarried, did not reveal the father. In the past, she has been romantically linked with actors such as Matt Damon and Josh Brolin, magician Criss Angel and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
A call to Driver's publicists seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday.
Driver is on the F/X cable TV series "The Riches."
Jury Clears Doctors Of Negligence In John Ritter's Death
2 A California jury has cleared a cardiologist and a radiologist of negligence in the diagnosis and treatment of actor John Ritter.
Ritter died of a torn aorta in 2003.
The jurors found that Ritter was advised by the radiologist to follow up with treatment by a physician, but Ritter didn't follow the order. The radiologist had completed a body scan on him two years earlier.
The lawsuit was brought by Ritter's widow and children. The jury's verdict was 9-3. Verdicts do not have to be unanimous in civil cases.
New York Yankees Release Billy Crystal
3 Billy Crystal's "mahvelous" time with the New York Yankees is over.
The team released the actor on his 60th birthday, one day after he struck out in his only at-bat against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The announcement came at the bottom of the second page in Friday's game notes. Under transactions, it said "March 14 Released INF Billy Crystal."
The team gave Crystal, a longtime Yankees' fan, the opportunity to be the designated hitter and lead off in the first inning Thursday because of his ambassador-like role for baseball.
Steve-O: Cocaine Possession Is No Joke
4 Steve-O of "Jackass" fame has been charged with felony possession of cocaine, according to court documents posted on celebrity news site TMZ.com.
The documents show that Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, was charged Monday. A message left for his manager, Ben Feigin, wasn't immediately returned late Thursday.
The 33-year-old co-star of MTV's irreverent stunt show was arrested March 3 at his Hollywood home for investigation of vandalism and possession of a controlled substance.
Glover allegedly had a small quantity of drugs on him, police said at the time.
McMahon, 85, Doing The Best He Can After Neck Injury
5 Former "Tonight Show" sidekick Ed McMahon broke his neck in a fall last year and was recovering after two surgeries, his publicist said Thursday.
Susan DuBow said the fall happened last March. She said she did not believe McMahon was at his Beverly Hills home when it happened.
"It's been a tough year, but I'm working hard in rehab and doing the best I can to get through it," the 85-year-old McMahon said in a statement.
DuBow said she was not allowed to release any further information for legal reasons. McMahon was recently seen walking around at a public event in a neck brace.
McMahon is perhaps best known as Johnny Carson's sidekick for decades on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson." He worked with Carson on the game show "Who Do You Trust?" in 1957 and was known for never failing to laugh at Carson's quips.
McMahon also was co-host with Dick Clark of the "Bloopers" shows and he has made regular appearances on The Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.
Vogue Gets A Little More Rugged With LeBron James On Cover
The Cleveland Cavaliers' superstar will appear on the April cover of Vogue, joining actors Richard Gere and George Clooney as the only men to do so in the influential fashion magazine's 116-year history.
Wearing a tank top, shorts and sneakers from his own Nike clothing line, James appears on the cover dribbling a basketball and screaming as if in game mode while throwing one arm around supermodel Gisele Bundchen with Tom Brady nowhere to be found.
The pairing of the All-Star forward and the runway icon was shot in January by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio.
"It's pretty good," James said Thursday night before the Cavs' game in Washington. "Me being a big guy and a big supporter of fashion, to be on the cover with Gisele, on the cover of the biggest fashion magazine ever - it's pretty good."
Vogue is featuring athletes and models in an annual issue devoted to size and shape. The 6-foot-9 James and 5-foot-11 Bundchen, who dates Patriots star quarterback Brady, were a natural pairing.
