As legal teams left court, McCartney's lawyer Nicholas Mostyn told reporters that judge Hugh Bennett had reserved his ruling. The judge will now spend several weeks working out a settlement.
Mills and McCartney separated in 2006 after four years of marriage. The went to court to decide on Mills' share of the former Beatle's fortune, estimated at as much as $1.6 billion.
According to CBS News correspondent Charles D'Agata, reports over the weekend said Mills was throwing a big bash to celebrate a record $130 million dollar payout. Other sources claimed she would get a more modest $20 million.
The one thing Sir Paul and his ex did agree on, D'Agata says, was fighting fairly when it came to their four-year old daughter, Beatrice.
Mills, 40, smiled as she left London's Royal Courts of Justice with her entourage. McCartney, 65, did not attend, although he was in court to face his estranged wife every day last week.
Media reports have suggested McCartney offered his wife around $50 million and that she was seeking at least double that amount.
Few details have emerged from Court 34 since the hearing began on Feb. 11. Unlike most British court cases, divorce proceedings are heard in private, and the courtroom is closed to journalists and the public.
The terms of a settlement will not become public unless it is challenged in the Court of Appeal, or one of the parties chooses to reveal details.
Mills is a former model whose left leg was amputated below the knee after a motorcycle accident in 1993. She became active in campaigning against land mines and in favor of animal welfare.
The couple married in June 2002 - four years after the death of McCartney's first wife, Linda - and Beatrice was born in October the following year. They announced their separation in 2006, and McCartney filed for divorce alleging "unreasonable behavior" by his wife.

- P.S.
Why does everyone lay blame on her?
We know NOTHING about their years together.
Maybe he just wanted out.
All was well - I thought - at home until my husband said we are getting a divorce. He had been "shopping" on his lunch hours and I had no clue.
To this day, he says it was not me at all, he just wanted something else. - Reply to this comment
- Why in God''s name can''t either of these people get this done?
No matter what is decided, she will have more than enough money and he has enought that he won''t even notice.
They are both fools. - Reply to this comment
- Sir Paul offers the 2 bit tramp 50 million and she turns it down and wants 150 million!!
That shows me and everyone she is just after his money as anyone in their right mind would of took those millions and been happy.
The court should just give her 5 million and be done with her. - Reply to this comment
- She''s a gold-digger and a trollup. She brought nothing to the marriage except a warm crotch. Give her the $200.00 bucks a night she earned on her back and let it go at that.

- Give ''er a million a year, and hopefully we will never hear from her again...

- Considering the fact that she was not around to help him make all that money. He brought the vast majority of it into the marriage with him. She was only married to him for 4 years. Which is not that long. I think 50 million is a reasonable settlement. That''s more than she probably deserves. And that''s nothing to sneeze at either. I would take it in a heartbeat. I can see why there is a need for prenuptial agreements.

- I don''t think that this kind of behavior on the part of Heather Mills does anything to further the cause of women in this world. It shows greed. She is asking for too much money in relation to the time they spent together. She should by all means get something but not that much. She is still a young woman and she will write a book and do lots of personal appearances and give speeches to womens groups so she won''t be in the poorhouse.
This kind of thing makes men very wary of marraige and the thing is that you see it so often. - Reply to this comment
- I believe the " hussy " was a " gold digger ". Sir Paul literALLY got "Screwed "!!! Next Subject: Hillary sold her soul to the devil??? Impossible ! The woman is the devil!!!!!!!!

- He thought she''d be so grateful that a person of his stature, with his kind of fame and his kind of money would marry her, one legged as she was, that she''d of course be in it for life. He actually wanted to believe in love...poor sucker. One born every minute. He probably thought that she''d be quite happy to be the wife of "Sir" Paul McCartney considering how just about any woman, rich or not, would probably give up both legs just to become this fabulously wealthy man''s bride, concubine, mistress, or even his well kept secret.

- "McCartney filed for divorce alleging "unreasonable behavior" by his wife."
her only unreasonable behavior was having *** with a burned-out pop star who looks like his own grandmother. i know it pains the whining trolls who were either taken to the cleaners in their own divorces or who were unable to collect support from their own nasty ex''s, but she really does have a leg to stand on in this case--two legs, legally speaking, which is a little ironic. i hope she gets her $100+ million and shoves that plastic leg up "Sir" paul''s @ss. what''s that? she already has? ya, the beatles had some funny habits. cheers! - Reply to this comment
- Good Gawd, don''t they have pre-nuptual agreements over there?
Four years of marraige is not a long time compared to the years he had to work to get all that money! Pick better next time, Paul. Better yet, just stay single. - Reply to this comment
- I hope this Judge will give her exactly what she deserves. A Dollar for each year!!!!!!My God, what does this witch want? Is 100 million not enough for a couple of years of marriage?
I am all for the child to get looked after, but thats it. - Reply to this comment
- to TruthBeTold and anyone who read the rediculaous post about Obama using cocain and snorting cocaine.....
That ludicrous story made its way to the public arena thanks to Jeff Rense''s conspiracy radio show. If you want to see the "truths" that Jeff Rense brings to life, just visit rense.com. Anyone who believes this dribble is an uneducated, racist fool.
Do some research and quit believing in conspiracy proclaiming talk show hosts. - Reply to this comment

- 20 million, 50 million, 100 million. Either way it is more than she would ever make in a 10 life times. She should of been happy with whatever she could get and move on. I hope they both burn in hell. So stupid over money, none of them will take it with them when they go to hell.
