LAURA BUSH
First lady Laura Bush is joining the National Endowment for the Humanities in an initiative called "Picturing America," telling America's story through its art.
Picturing America is comprised of 40 iconic masterpieces by American artists, painters, photographers and architects.
Mrs. Bush and the National Endowment for the Humanities want to place Picturing America in every U.S. school and library. Mrs. Bush says two artists she particularly likes from the collection are Mary Cassatt and Jacob Lawrence.
Mrs. Bush spoke about that and other topics -- including daughter Jenna's upcoming wedding, where she and the president will move after they leave the White House, and what she hopes the next president will focus on -- with co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez on The Early Show Wednesday and Thursday.

More than 1,500 schools and libraries in all 50 states have already received the Picturing America materials as part of the 2007 pilot project.
Mrs. Bush also looked back at the recent trip she and President Bush took to Africa. For more on that, click here.
