(CBS)  It's hard to believe that it's been over 40 years since Raquel Welch made her starring debut in "One Million Years B.C."

She quickly became known as one of the sexiest women alive, and her extensive body of work includes over 60 movies and television shows, and a Golden Globe.

Now, she returns to the small screen in the new CBS sitcom, "Welcome to the Captain."

Welch, 67, plays a woman claiming to be in her early 40s with an eye for younger men in a Hollywood apartment building where gossip is a championship sport. She has a crush on a younger man, played by Fran Kranz, while one closer to her age, portrayed by well-known character actor Jeffrey Tambor, relentlessly pursues her.

On The Early Show Monday, Welch chatted with co-anchor Harry Smith about the new show and her real-life love-life, observing that she "should be window-shopping for men," but doesn't, instead letting men pick her, then deciding if she wants them. One problem, she admits, is that she doesn't know "what it is I want." Welch is thrice-divorced and separated from husband No.4.

She also reflected on her long career on both the big and small screens.

More than just a pretty face. Not without acting talent. *** to be sure. Sounds like she''s had her fill of marriage. Just live with the guy, babe. What do you need marriage for? What''s her daughter up to? The one that was in "Cocoon"?

It goes without saying that we admire her body of work. And it is clear that we equally admire the work on her body.
