After flying literally millions of miles, he's learned a lot about how to fit everything he needs for a few days -- in carry-on luggage.
And he showed how to pack men's and women's suitcases efficiently on The Early Show Friday, in the last part of his series, "Early Entertaining Extravaganza."
Cowie discusses it all in his new book, "Colin Cowie Chic: the Guide to Life As It Should Be."
Among the things he discussed on the show: Always place a mat under the suitcase when putting it on the bed, to avoid spreading germs. Also: important documents, essential items (three-ouncers), what to bring for the plane ride, what to wear on the plane, what to pack for a few days, how to fold clothes so everything fits, and how to store clothes in the bag so the items all fit and don't get wrinkled.
